Forever and Always

~ FLASHBACK TO WHEN THEY WERE 18~

~ ENTOAN POV~

I woke up, on the couch.  I looked to the side to see Lizzie, held in my embrace. I smiled. She looked so adorable in her Aeropostale jacket, capris, and converse shoes.

God damn I was lucky. I got up from the couch, making sure I didn't wake the pink-haired Englander on the couch.

I looked at the time, 6:00, I had just about three hours until she woke up.

~ LIZZIE POV~

I woke up to see Entoan.

"Hey." I lazily said, before pecking him on the lips. I sniffed the air. It smelled like something was cooking.

"What's that?" I said, seeing him give out a faint smile.

He stood me up and said, "It's a surprise." He put his hands over my eyes so I couldn't see anything.

I clasped his wrists as he began taking me somewhere, the smell getting more and more powerful.

"Keep them closed," He said, removing his hands and I squeezed my eyes shut. I heard him fiddling around with something. "Alright, now open."

I slowly opened my eyes and almost immediately my mouth was wide open.

I saw a couple of pink balloons, as well as a bunch of pancakes, each shaped as a letter

"H-A-P-P-Y S-I" I read them one by one. "-X M-O-N-T-H A-N-N-I-V-E-R-S-A-R-Y"

"Aww!" I squealed as I saw two black boxes on the table. One was small and one was a per medium sized.

"Can I open them?" Entoan simply nodded, smiling.

I took hold of the medium one. I breathed in and opened to find a necklace with a charm on it. I took a closer look and saw a silver heart, the middle filled with a light blue sapphire.

"Aww thank you!" I exclaimed, rather happy.

I picked up the other box and opened it. It was a pin. The pin had a bat symbol on it.

I smiled, ecstatic.

It was a token of how we first met. I turned Towards Entoan and embraced him, giving him an extremely passionate kiss.

~2 MONTHS LATER~

~ LIZZIE POV~

I stood there, simply staring at the letter I held. I had done it, I had really done it. I had gotten into Oxford university. I couldn't believe I had actually gotten into my dream college.

I stood there dumbfounded, thinking about all the possibilities.

I would make new friends, and advance in my studies both at the same time.

Then it dawned on me. I couldn't just leave Entoan, could I?

I immediately got into my car and went to his house.

He opened the door as I stepped in.

We sat down on his couch.

"Entoan," I started, my face growing grim.

"I...I have to leave you."

I saw his smile very quickly fade, and I was already starting to tear up.

"N...no Lizzie why?"

"I...I got into Oxford University..." He smiled.

"What's the problem with that?" He started, smiling again. "I can handle long distance!" He said.

I began to cry even harder. He looked me into the eyes, and took hold of my hand, as he began to tear up now.

"Lizzie," He started. "I don't want you to leave. Please don't leave me," He hesitated. "Lizzie, I f*cking love you."

That was the first time he told me that. That was the first time anyone told me that.

"I...I love you too."

"Lizzie, I've started to think I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He paused. "Believe me, I don't like the idea of long distance either, but if it's our only choice I can do it."

I took a moment, just sitting there crying.

"E...Entoan I can't do i...it." I hesitated "I love you t...too m...much." I broke down again.

"S...So, is this it?" Entoan asked. All I could do was nod.

"B...But what about when you come back?"  I smiled.

"Will we still be together?" He finished.

"Forever and always, Entoan."

I smiled as I took his hand in mine, leaving something behind. The Batman pin.

"To remember me by." I said, and he began to cry.

"Lizzie," He paused. "I'll never forget about you."

I leaned in causing our lips to crash, one, final, time.

I stood up, and walked away. I grabbed the necklace from my neck. I'll keep this on all the time. I thought. Forever and always.
