the bright colours of the sky made everything so much more beautiful, the snow glittering on the sides of the carpet and wood mats that were placed for the wedding so that nobody would be stepping on any of it and so wetting their outfits at the seems.

most people smiled, the happiness also reflecting in their eyes for the couple who had already walked down the isle and now laughed as the groom continued to cry his eyes while hugging his wife tightly, who tried her best to calm him down by placing light kisses all over his cheeks, nose, wet eyelids and moist lips.

along with jennie, many people continue to clap, even as the snow continued to faintly make its way to the ground and onto people. a fairy tale sight.

later, the guests and main couple all gathered beneath the tent where the buffet had been placed and a few tables for everyone to settle down. lisa and mark were sat down with their parents, jennie sat on the same table as the bridesmaids and two other friends.

it had been five people per table, it was a lively evening, full of bubbly laughter and gleaming smiles.

from the corner of their eyes, some people came to notice how mark was first to stand up, lisa staring up at him confused at first until smiling knowingly and happily, her hands slithering into her husband's offered ones and standing up beside him.

the young man is shaking and anybody can tell, he was nervous, because of all the eyes on him, but people were almost cooing at the sight of the golden-blonde haired female leaning her head onto his shoulder and instantly having him feel less nervous.

"I...I would to say a few words." he starts off a bit shakily. "first and foremost, thank you, so much for everyone who came all the way over to the one place I cherish so much, who gave up their time and even money — vancouver isn't a cheap trip, not even for us." soft laughs arose and his cheeks burn into a light tone of red.

"it makes me — and lisa, really happy, even beyond that, that you guys made it to this day to see me and her getting married — "

" — I knew it since day one!"

laughs continue to burst through the place as a black haired male, ten, looked smug. "so, I guess my thanks also goes to ten, for introducing me to the love of my life." mark has his face flaring from the embarrassment, in a good way. "and mainly, I also thank lisa... she's always been the one and only for me."

awes are whispered at his confession and his wife can only feel her smile stretch to the limits of her cheeks. "and also the fact you decided to marry this — clumsy person, but it's just like I promised you." he faced her, grasping her hands tighter in his and bringing them up to his chest. "no matter what, from this day on, I'll be taking care of you, loving you, I'll do whatever it takes to always have you happy. I love you, lalisa manoban. and from this day on, I always will."

claps can resonate around them, and despite being such a short speech, it was powerful to the heart. jennie felt all her best friend had been feeling, but much less as she wasn't the one who was receiving the love.

the tears that accidentally escaped lisa's eyes has mark instantly hug her and run his fingers through her hair, the type of affection anyone would want.

turning her head to the side, jennie's eyes meet with overly familiar ones, she was caught off guard for a few seconds.

taeyong is staring at her from across the room, he hasn't changed since the last time she remembers, he hasn't changed since she last saw him in the bakery and where they last spoke.

he still looked as attractive with his defined features, blonde hair and even the way the tuxedo suited him oh, so well. but neither has jennie changed, the woman still looked as beautiful with her long dark hair up in a bun, features looking ever so delicate yet sharp at the same time, and even the way the champagne dress suited her so magnificently.

if anything, one thing both had changed in, was from getting rid of the sad expressions of months ago, the bitterness and confusion, and having them look much brighter, happier.

jennie smiles as she sees taeyong's lips tugging upwards as well in a grin of his own, their hands lifting up and waving, acknowledging each other before turning away to the sight of the loving couple, who were the center of attention.

they continue to smile to themselves, proudly and happily, at the same time, a relaxed sigh leaving them as they lean back onto their chairs with a soft chuckle.

the seasons have changed, indeed.
