Chapter 2

Nathaniel POV

As Amelia was walking down the stairs I saw her fall at the last step so I ran to help her right away.

             "Amelia are you okay, what happened, " I asked as I see Marinette and Adrien come over to help me get her up.

             "Yes I'm fine, it's just me being clumsy, " Amelia says with hiding something and walking out of the classroom

             "I know something up but she doesn't want to tell us, " Marinette whispered to me.

             "Is she worried that we may not believe her, " I whisper back as I look around and see Chloe and Lila giggling like something was funny.

             "What's so funny, Chloe, " Adrien asked.

             "Oh, nothing Adkins, " Chloe answered.

             "Come on Chloe don't lie to me, " Adrien asked again.

             "Okay, Lila tripped Amelia over, " Chloe says as Lila looks at Chloe like 'why me'.

             "Are you sure it wasn't you Chloe, " Marinette suggest to Chloe.

             "I'm sure, I would never do something like that, " Chloe says pretending to be all nice.

             "I know she's lying to us, but we can't drag this on as long as it has, " I whisper to Adrien and Marinette.

             "Okay, no problem, " Marinette whispered back.

             "Okay then, see you later Chloe, " Adrien says before him, Marinette and I walk away to find Amelia and see if she is okay.

             "Yea, see ya later Adkins, " Chloe yells to Adrien before we walk out of the classroom.

As we were looking for Amelia, we find Alya and Nino sitting at a branch cuddle up together.

             "Hey, Alya and Nino have you two seen Amelia, " Marinette asked them.

             "Hey, Marinette, Adrien and Nathaniel, yes we have seen Amelia she went towards the library, why, " Alya replied and asked with a confused look on her face.

             "Well, Chloe tripped her over and of course Chloe won't say she did but we know she did, so we're trying to find Amelia and let her know that we're on her side, " Marinette replied.

             "Oh, can we come with and help, " Alya asked as we start walking.

             "Sure, you can come with us, " I replied as we start heading to the library.

Amelia P.O.V

As I was on my way to the library I saw Nathaniel with Marinette, Adrien, Alya and Nino. So instead of going into the library, I went outside to the front of the school on the stairs and sit there to hide from the others.

When I got to the stairs I saw a nice old man that was having trouble with carrying his bags, so I walked over to help the old man.

              "Hello sir, do you need some help with carrying your bags, " I asked as I'm helping him out.

              "Yes, and thanks for your kindness young lady, " he says with a happy smile on his face.

              "So, do you need a ride home, " I asked as I get my phone out to call for a taxi.

              "Yes, thank you, " he says as I call for the taxi.

As I put the man bags next to him for me to talk to the person on the phone.
