Chapter 1

Amelia POV

That morning as I was eating breakfast and getting ready for my first day, I saw the rectangle-shaped box of cookies. I picked up the box and put it in my bag so I could share them with my classmates, even though there were for me from Marinette, it's just I won't be able to eat them by myself with mum. I hope Marinette okay with that.

As I was walking to the front door with my bag on my back and my shoes on mum said.
                 "Goodbye, Amelia have an amazing first day at school, " she said.
                 "Bye, mum I will, " I say as I wave goodbye before leaving closing the door.
As I walk to the elevator I had a video call from Marinette.
                 "Hello, it's Amelia what's up, " I say as I wait for Marinette to say something.
                 "Hello, Amelia I just thought I would call to see how things were going, " she asked.
                 "Well, things are going great at the moment, " I said "plus guess who I met yesterday after lunch, " I continued as I was going down in the elevator.
                 "Who, Amelia was it Alya or Nino, " Marinette asked.
                 "I met Adrien Agreste and his father Gabriel Agreste made me a grown with beautiful butterflies, " I replied as I walked out of the elevator and outside toward the direction of the school.
                 "Oh my god, what was he talking about anyone or anything to you, " Marinette questioned.
                "Well, he was talking about you, " I answered "well I'll see at school, so bye, " I continued.
                "Okay, but you got to tell me everything when you get here so see ya, " She says before I ended the video call.

When I walked past a bakery and saw the Collège Françoise Dupont. So I walked across a crossing and towards the stairs to try and find Marinette or Adrien. But in the end, I find Marinette sitting on the stairs out front of Collège Françoise Dupont with a girl that had glasses on and lovely coloured hair.
                "Hey Amelia, over here, " Marinette says as I walked over to her and her friend.
                "Hello Marinette, who is this, " I asked her.
                "This is Alya, " Marinette answered.
                "It's nice to meet you, I'm Amelia, " I say as I was shaking Alya hand.
                "Same to you, Amelia, " Alya replied.
                "So, tell me about Adrien, Amelia, " Marinette asked
                "Well, he gave me a beautiful butterfly dress as a welcome present. I did question if you ask him to come to my house and if he knew you, " I answered as I continue the story.

As I was telling the story Marinette was blushing and Alya was laughing over Marinette.
               "Oh my God, Marinette look at your face it's red, " Alya says as she is still laughing.
               "Alya is not wrong about your face, " I said as it looks like Marinette was going to faint.                       "Marinette are you okay, " I asked before I knew it she was falling.
               "Oh, my, Marinette, " Alya says as we caught her before she hit the ground.

As Alya was looking after Marinette, I went looking for someone to help us with Marinette. As I was walking around to find someone to help, I saw Adrien and told him what happened and that she fainted because of the heat. An also what we wanted to do so he was happy to help. Because we need to get Marinette to a branch in the shade so she didn't overheat.

When we put down her on a shaded branch, we had a group of people come up and ask what happen. Together Alya and I told everyone that Marinette fainted because of the heat even though it was a lie. After telling everyone I had a guy with a sketchbook and pen, come up to me.
               "Hello, " he said "will Marinette be okay, " he continued as I nodded up and down.
               "Hello, yes she will be okay and my name is Amelia by the way, " I replied and introduced myself to him.
               "I'm Nathaniel Kurtzberg, I'm an artist in drawing comic books, " he said introducing himself as he shows a few pages in his sketchbook.
               "Well, I'm a fashion designer plus model when I can, " I say as I unzip my bag and grabbing my fashion sketchbook out of it and of course being the clumsy person I am I drop my sketchbook on the ground.
               "I've got it, " Nathaniel and I said at the same time before we both go down pick up my sketchbook we hit each other on the head before falling down.
              "I'm so sorry Nathaniel, " I say as I apologise before Nathaniel and I start laughing and I pick up my sketchbook.
              "It's okay, you're almost like Marinette with the amount of clumsiness you have, " he said as I blush and smile as he helps me up after he gets up.
              "Thanks for helping me, " I say before I showed Nathaniel a few of my designs for my outfit from my sketchbook and pointed at my dress as one of the designs that I made.
           "Your sketches are amazing Amelia, do you also sketch people and all that, " Nathaniel says as he asked a question.
           "Yes, I do just not all the time, why do you ask, " I say as I start getting shy.
           "At some state today you could draw me, " he says as an idea.
           "Sure, why not, " I say as we waved goodbye and I go to see if everything is still going okay with Marinette.

Marinette P.O.V

When I woke up saw Adrien standing next to me.
           "Hey, everyone she is awake and okay, " Adrien told everyone as I sat up slowly.
           "Yay, " Everyone says as I looked around seeing that Alya was giggling and laughing at Amelia over something.
           "What happened to me, "  I asked as I looked at Adrien in confusion.
           "Well, you fainted from the heat, " Adrien said answering my question.
           "Well, I'm okay now, " I say as everyone walks over but Chloe and Lila of course.

Amelia P.O.V

When Alya finish pointing fun and laughing at me over the way I acting in front of Nathaniel. Alya and I walk over to Marinette to see that she was awake so we begin jogging to her.
            "Marinette you're awake, how are you feeling, " I said when Alya and I got to Marinette.
            "I'm feeling okay after me fainting, " she said as she got up from the breach.
            "That's good that you are okay from it, " I say as I smile with joy that she was her normal self again.
            "So what was happening between you and Alya as I was waking up from fainting, " Marinette asked me as I started laughing awkwardly. Because of how embarrassed it was that Marinette saw Alya making fun of me for blushing ball of nerves and being clumsy like her around Nathaniel.
           "Well, umm..., " I say as I pushed Alya ahead of me and wanting her to tell Marinette.
           "Well, Amelia has a run into Nathaniel and started being more clumsy than you, and she was blushing all the time in front of him, " Alya answered for me as I was hiding behind her and blushing so badly.
          "And you think or know that Amelia has a crush on Nathaniel, " Marinette says finishing Alya sentence for her.
         "We better get to class before the bell goes, " I say as I started walking to the stairs. And almost start running to the stairs because of my worries of Marinette and Alya may make fun of me because of my crush on Nathaniel.

When I got to class I saw Miss Bustier.
         "Hello Miss Bustier, where will I sit in the class, " I asked as I was introducing myself.
         "Yes, Hello Amelia you will sitting next to Nathaniel on the top of the stairs and here's your tablet and your pencil that goes with it, " she replied pointing to the top of the stairs of where Nathaniel was sitting and giving me my tablet and pencil.
         'Oh no, why Nathaniel of all people I have to sit next to, ' I thought in panic.

After talking to Miss Bustier, the bell rang and the class was about to start walking to my seat before being push onto the floor and getting up again to then start jogging to my seat. When I got to my seat, I looked around on my body to see if there's no blood or buries but when I looked at my left arm I had very light buries, so I pull a long sleeve shirt out of my bag to put it on and over my arm with the buries

When everyone was sitting down. Nathaniel sat down next to me and saw my buries a little bit.
         "Hi Amelia, are you okay, " He asked as I saw a bit of my buries showing.
         "Yes I'm fine, why do you ask, " I answered whispering nervously.
         "I just asked because I saw buries on your arm, " He replied whispering pulling up my sleeve.
         "It's nothing bad I promise, Nathaniel, " I whispered trying not to make a big deal about myself and my buries.

After talking about my buries, the class started as Miss Bustier started talking about what we're learning today.
         "Today we will be learning about animals and how important they're to us, like pets for an example. Because we're going to have someone from our local vet's coming in today to talk about the pets they look after and help, " Miss Bustier says before someone by the name of Jess and we knew that because they was a name tag on her work shirt and Jess was also my mum's name.
          "Hello, everyone as you see by my name tag I'm Jess and I work it the local vet around here. Like everything that Miss Bustier has said, " She says, I knew that my mum needs a job as a Vet doctor but I didn't know how quick she was going to get it.

As the lesson was going when I finish writing notes on my table I started to doodle around my notes and also drawing little picture for my notes and as I was doing it, I felt someone poking me. So I looked and saw it was Nathaniel doing it.
         "What Nathaniel, what's with the poking, " I whispered as I look a little annoyed.
         "I just wanted to say that your doodles are amazing and your picture for the notes is awesome as well, " he whispered pointing at my doodles and drawings of the pictures.
         "Well, thanks, " I whispered, with nerve smile.

When it came to the end of class I finish the notes and sketch for them. I started packing my bag but waited for the bell to go before I put my tablet and tech pencil and when it did I quickly put them in my bag and quickly but carefully walking down the stairs and before I was at the last step I was tripped by someone.
