         "I'm sorry, but I have to move today mom." I yell from the top of the stairs. My mom has been trying to change my mind on moving the entire day. "I just don't want you to move, theirs so much stuff to do with you mother. " She yells from the kitchen, which is down stairs. I ignore her and pack the rest of my stuff.

As I pack the stuff on my walls, some memories come back to me, I remembered that first time I got a message from my best friend, Bailey,  who is now in my band, Surge, along with her brother, Lio. Pictures from my first party, with my first boyfriend who we don't speak of because he's a dick and he moved away.

I finished packing, I look at the pictures of the family as walk down the stairs. When I get down stairs, I walk in the kitchen to see my mom, Crystal and my step dad, Josh. My mom is filled with tears and Josh is on the couch playing Apex. "Omg... I can't believe my baby is leaving the nest. " She says as tears run down her face. "Awe, it's okay mom, I'll buy you plane tickets when I graduate. " I say with my teeth clenched together. "You better! " Mom says in a playful way. I fake laugh, I look over at Josh and the living room looks like he had a party with beer cans and food plates everywhere. "So when is Mr. Doesn't-Clean gonna actually do something productive? " I ask. My mom slaps my arm, "Rose Samira Irwin! " She whisper yells, "Don't act like you do any better." I shoot back at her with a face that mite help her rethink about what she just said. She looks at me with a face that says I'm not changing my mind. "At least I moved out of my parents house before I was 20." I say as I turn around. "Well..." She starts to say, then stops. I shoot a look that says "See?". She closes her mouth, and grabs the car keys, " Josh, I'm driving Rose to the airport, I'll be back in a little bit!" She yells, Josh sits and doesn't respond.

We get my bags in the car, we get in the car then my mom looks up how to get to Bangor International Airport. "Do you have your tickets?" My mom ask. "Yep, 3 tickets from Penobscot County, Maine to Long Beach, California." I say very happily. The reason I have 3 tickets instead of one is because Bailey and Lio are going with me, so we can get somewhere with our band. "Text Bailey to make sure they're ready, please. " Moms says as she starts the car.

Rose
Hey are you ready for
us to pick you up?

Bailey
Yep! Lio is so excited!
Don't forget the tickets.

Rose
I didn't forget, I'm sooo ready.

Bailey
Same! Hurry we only
have 2 hours to get there.

"I text her, she's ready." I tell mom. She parks on the side of the road, then honks the horn. I jump out of the car, then run to the door, then ring the door bell, Bailey answers the door and playfully tells me "Get your ass in here and help me get these bags in the car!" I giggle then get as many bags as I can and bring them to the car, Lio is putting the bags in the car as Bailey and I get the bags. My mom and Bailey's mom, Katherine, are outside crying together about all three of us moving across the country.

Once we're done I let Katherine say her goodbyes to Lio, Bailey, and I. We get in the car. "What do you guys what to listen to?" My mom asks. "Panic At The Disco, please!" We all yell and giggle after not planning to say the same band. Mom giggles, then puts on my "Panic Playlist" off Spotify, we all start singing 'Victorious' and Lio was the only one to be able to hold the long note at the beginning.

After about 30 minutes we arrived at the airport, my mom helps getting the bags out of the car. I hug my mom and so does Lio and Bailey. "I'm counting on you Bailey to take care of my little baby, and Lio." She says in a very strict voice, Bailey giggles and looks at me and Lio. "Don't worry Ms. Carnival, I'll take great care of them." The reason my mom put Bailey in charge was because she's older then me, shes 19 about to turn 20. I'm 18 about to turn 19. Lio is 17 about to be 18. Bailey and mom have a conversation. I lean on Lio, even though I'm older, he's way taller then I am, it's like I'm best friends with a tree. I hug him as I begin to grow tired, my arms go around his upper stomach, so my head is right below his chin. Bailey and Mom stop talking then we say goodbye for the last time.

Lio, Bailey, and I go though security then get on the plane we were so lucky to get seats all next to each other. We put on our seat belts and off we go. Lio starts to play with my hair, He whispers "You're hair looks really nice when you dye it Rose Gold.",  I smile and say " Thank you."
