Carol Danvers Catch-Up

(A/N): Sorry this took so long I've been occupied with school so this may be really sucky. I only did the parts I thought were really important or just fun and might add more later.

How You Met- Your planet was your biggest love. You spent every waking hour doing whatever you could to protect your home from any invaders that threatened it. Your planet was called Lumin, the ninth planet from the sun in the Sh'Mengi star system. You were a fighter for your planet. Captain of a whole squadron. You had fought many battles and knew the face of your planet like the back if your hand.

An attack had been sent to your planet by a vicious race you had never heard of before. Swinging your weapon you did the best you could to fight off any attackers who dared come close to the inner walls of the main city. To be quite frank you and your team were having a rough time but you were holding up just fine. Just as you were about to kill another of the invaders a bright light flashed in front of you appearing to be coming from the sky. Dust flew up into the air causing you to shield your eyes from the free pieces of ground. When you moved your hands from your eyes you watched as a woman effortlessly destroyed almost the entire army of invaders. The two of you continued to fight until all of the invaders were dead or had fled.

     "Who are you?!" You asked panting. The woman looked you up and down before smiling.

       "Carol." She replied with a slight smirk. There was silence for a moment. "Now would be the time to tell me your name."

       "(Y/N)." You replied. Carol smirked again. "Thank you for your help. Please stay a while so we can repay you." Carol agreed and the two of you set off toward the main city.

She/You Ask Her/You Out- Carol had been staying on Lumin for about a month now and the two of you had become very good friends. Her fun-loving and sarcastic nature was like a breath of fresh air compared to the usual dryness of most people on your planet. As time went on you began to feel a new type of way for Carol. You developed a sort of crush on her.

     You and Carol were eating lunch together one sunny day. Carol had been telling you all about her past and what adventures she had been on. You were only half paying attention to what she was saying. You were deciding how you would let her know of your feelings for her. You were terrified she would reject you.

      "(Y/N) it's not very polite to stare if into space when people are talking to you." Carol joked. You smiled awkwardly.

     "Sorry. I was just thinking." You replied.

       "About what?"

       "About how we should do something like more than friends sometimes."

      You honestly didn't mean to say anything, it just slipped out. You sat in horror as you waited for Carol's reaction. After what seemed like minutes she spoke.

     "If you're asking me out its a yes." She said smirking.

Wow, she's pretty good looking. I guess it wouldn't hurt if I stayed and got to know her a while.

As much as you and Carol love each other you are both very much your own people. You give each other space whenever needed and never try to change each other. Not that either of you would ever want to because you both think each other are perfect.
