(Miya P.O.V)

Dirty. That's all I feel. Some people think dirty is the stains on your clothes, but its so much more than that. Dirty is the feeling of not being able to wash something away, not being able to get the dirt off of you.

I crawl into the shower for the third time, trying to get rid of the feeling. It didn't work.

Hot water turns to cold, so I forcefully pull myself out of the shower, the cold air hitting my body like a whip.

Towel secured firmly across my chest, I look at myself in the mirror.

I acknowledge the bruises and scars, and wear them with pride. A survivor.

I get dressed into one of Peters shirts and shorts, even though you can't see them. Pulling on my boots, I walk outside.

Fourteen eyes stare at me, pity in all of them. I ignore it, and walk towards Laykn, who is sitting alone.

"Laykn?" I ask quietly

He lifts his head. "What do you need?" he asks.

I shift my weight onto my left leg, and play with the hem of Peters shirt.

"Can you, um, could you please, um, maybe, sleep with me?" I stutter.

Laykn looks at me with wide eyes.

"Just to keep me safe." i say, and he nods his head in agreement. Our hands intertwined, he leads me to his tent.

Inside is much smaller than Peters tent. There is a bed, a set of drawers, and a small bathroom.

Regardless, I climb onto of his bed, and Laykn follows, wrapping his arms around me.

"I'll keep you safe." he whispers into my ear.

I fall asleep, knowing that he will.

The sound of rain awakens me. Pat pat pat. I turn onto my side, and see that Laykn's not there. My eyes widen in worry, and I scurry outside.

I gasp at what I see.

Laykn is tied to a tree, hanging upside down. I run over to him.

"Don't. Please." He whimpers, as I examine his bruises and scars.

"Who did this to you?" I ask firmly.

"P-Pan." he struggles to get one simple word out.

I huff, and try to untie him, only to see that he would fall flat on his head, making injuries worse.

Many ideas flash through my mind, but none will work. Well, none except one. Maybe.

It's worth a shot.

I position my hands so that my palms are facing Laykn, and I close my eyes in concentration.

I slowly move them closer to the ground, and I reluctantly open my eyelids.

Just in time.

Laykn stands on the ground, no rope tied around his feet. I support him just as he's about to fall.

Taking very small steps, I lead him back to his tent, and lay him down in bed.

"Go to sleep. I'll fix you up when you awaken." I smile at him.

"You're amazing, you know that?" he says slowly, as each breath causes extreme pain.

"I try my best," I joke "But now sleep, and I'll see you soon."

He obeys, and closes his eyes. I walk out of the tent, and hear a thick British accent.

"That was very impressive." Peter said smugly.

No, not Peter. His name is Pan.

"Shut up, Pan." I spit.

He raises an eyebrow in surprise, and starts to pace around.

"You never call me Pan." he says

"Things change. Feelings change."

He stares at me, confused, until he figure out what I meant.

Pan may be one of the most feared villains alive, but he could be pretty stupid.

"Why did you beat up Laykn?" I ask.

"You see, you're mine. And no one can have what's mine. You two were too close for my liking, so I slapped some sense into him." Peter glances at his fingernails, and back to me, completely oblivious.

"I asked him to sleep with me. To protect me!" I yelled.

Peter laughs, and raises his hands in surrender.

"Did I touch a nerve?" he asks sarcastically, and I feel absolutely infuriated.

"Damn right you touched a nerve."

"Calm down babe. Can't we talk this out? Maybe a little make up kiss?"

"I hate you." I mumble, and Pan picks it up.

"You don't mean that." he says, shaking his head.

Little does he know.

"Damn right I mean that! You fucking beat up my best friend because he was protecting me. I'm not your property! I can do whatever the hell I want! I never knew how much of a monster you actually are!" I shouted into his face.

Pan's eyes turned a dark shade of green, as if his evil was now apparent in his eyes.

"You knew what you were getting into!" he fires back.

"I thought I did! Turns out I was wrong. We're over."
