lost but not alone (Peter Pan / Robbie Kay)

Chapter 3

(Peter's P.O.V)

"Boys, gather around!" I say, and instantly they all come running.

"Boys, we have found another lost person."

All the lost boys start jumping around in happiness. Lets just say, I haven't recruited anyone for a while.

"He should be here any minute, so wait here while I collect him from the beach." I say, and they do as commanded.

I then push off the ground, and start to fly towards the beach my shadow told me to go.

I land, and rub my hands together, waiting for our new arrival.

I look into the distance, and see my shadow flying towards me, with someone holding onto his arm.

He lands on the beach, and I look at who he has bought.

It's a girl.

I just look at her, taking in every feature. The way her long blonde hair sits on her back, and how her eyes are blue, but have a little yellow surrounding her pupils.

"You're Peter Pan." She said blankly, staring at me.

"And you're a girl." I say, and turn to my shadow. "I thought we agreed on bringing boys, and boys only, to this island." I started, angrily.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but this was the only lost person I could find."

"You can go now, shadow." I dismiss it by waving my hand.

"Are you actually Peter Pan?" the girl asks me.

"Yes. What's your name?"

"That's for me to know, and for you to find out." she smiled to herself.

"Let's play a game." I say

"A game?"

"Oh yes, I love games." I respond.

"So, what's this game called?" she asks

"Lets call it, how long does she think she can hide her name for?" I asked, smirking.

"Fine, but I have to tell you, some people say I'm hard to read."

"I doubt that." I say, and take her hands in mine. I feel something, a feeling which I've long forgotten. I push the idea out of my head.

I focus on her, staring intently into her eyes. After about ten seconds, i pull away, and say "Miya."

She gasps, and looks at me in awe.

"How'd you know?" Miya asks

"Lets just say, I'm good at games." I say, while raising my eyebrows.

"So, is this my new home?" she asks, looking around.

"Yeah, I guess it is."

She automatically runs to the water, and splashes around in it. I take in her outfit, looking at her long legs, and toned stomach. She's very attractive...

Wait, what am I doing? I don't know the girl.

Miya comes out of the water, soaking wet, with a big smile plastered on her face.

"What's so great about the water?" I ask

"I've never seen the ocean before." she shrugs.

"Do you want to take another dip?" I raise one eyebrow.

She's already running to the edge of the water, but I'm faster.

I fly over to her, and pick her up bridal style, and go high into the air.

I then smirk, and then let her go.

She starts to scream, and kick her legs about. I just laugh, and swoop underneath her, catching her just before she hits the water.

"You didn't think I wouldn't catch you, did you?" I whisper into her ear.

She just stares at me blankly.

I grab out a silver ring, and give it to Miya.

"Peter! I think it's a bit early for this!" she sarcastically gasps, and goes to put it on the fourth finger on her left hand.

"Haha, very funny. No, this ring has fairy dust in it, so whenever you wear it, you can fly." I say, and she slips it on.

I then gently let her go, and she starts zooming around the night sky, laughing.

"Come! ill show you the lost boys!" i say, and she follows.

We fly for a couple of minutes in comfortable silence, and then land in the middle of our camp.

All the boys are there, waiting for our arrival.

"Boys, this is Miya. Miya, these are the lost boys."

Miya introduces herself to everyone, and Felix, my right hand man, whispers in my ear

"She's a girl."

"We had some complications, but we'll work it out." I say.

"Well, it has been a pleasure meeting you all, but I really should go to bed." she says.

And walks straight into my tent. MY tent.

"Did she just..." i heard Nibs trail off. No one goes in my tent, except for me. Ever. This girl really needs to learn the rules.

I walk into my tent, only to find her in her bra and underwear, obviously in the middle of changing.

"Sorry, ill just..." I say, turning a colour of deep red, and walk outside the tent. I wait a minute or two, and walk back in.

"Sorry about before." I say awkwardly, scratching the back of my ear.

"It's fine." Miya says, completely unfazed. She's now wearing a baggy black top, and I can just see her shorts sticking out from underneath her top.

"Now, sorry to burst your bubble honey, but this is my tent." I say, smirking.

"That's nice." she says. I raise an eyebrow.

"What do you mean, that's nice?" I ask. She doesn't reply, but just slips into my bed. I stand there, completely dumbfounded.

I eventually come to the conclusion that she's not going to move, so i have no choice but to lie next to her.

As I do, I instantly wrap my arms around her, without thinking about it. I realised what I did, and went to pull my arms away, but she just snuggles her head into my shoulder, and eventually, we both fall asleep.
