Chapter 14

(Miya P.O.V)

"He was my boyfriend."

Peters face showed many emotions, but then decided on one. Anger.

"Is he lost?" Peter asks, his voice laced with anger.

"What do you mean?"

"Does he have people who love him?"

I think for about a minute.

"Yes, he has a mother and father, two brothers and heaps of friends."

"Why is he here then?" Peter wonders out loud.

"What do you mean?"

"This island is for lost people only. He's not lost. So why is he here?"

I think about it, and come up with nothing.

"Miya, you have to like him."

"No way." I say instantly. He scarred me, and Peter wants us to be best friends?

"Just pretend. We need to find out why he's here. That's an order." Peter says

"Since when do I take orders from you?" I ask

"Well, I am the king of Neverland."

I scoff, and fly back to camp.

When I land, i walk over to Keenan. He's talking with a list boy - Benji, I think.

"Hey Keenan, can we talk?"

"Sure." he says with a smile playing on his lips.

We walk over to a more private bit of the camp.

"Hey, I was wondering if we could just forget about the past?" I ask, trying to sound convincing.

"Seriously? I'm forgiven?" He asks, surprised.

"Yes, you are."

He hugs me, and my stomach churns.

We walk back to camp, and I meet up with Axel and Laykn.

"What are we talking about?" I ask

"You and Pan being together." Axel says simply.

"How did you know about that?" I ask, baffled.

"Oh, come on! It's so obvious, just the way you look at each other." Laykn says.

"So... any lady interest?" I try to change the subject.

"Miya, you're the only girl on the island, and no offence, you're not my type." Laykn teases.

"Then what is your type?" I ask sassily

"Well, someone who isn't with one of the most dangerous villains alive." Laykn says, and Axel nods his head in agreement.

I walk over to Felix, who is sharpening his sword.

"Felix?"

"Mmm?"

"You know how you said that there was a girl you wanted to impress?" I ask

"Yeah?"

"I'm the only girl on the island."

"Yeah... about that..." Felix was cut off by Peter wrapping his arms around my waist, and telling me to come with him.

Peter pulled me to our tent, but I mouthed a 'sorry' to Felix, who just waved me off.

As soon as we got into the tent, I put my hands on my hips.

"What was that?" I ask

"What was what?" Peter wasn't getting it.

"You interrupted Felix and I's conversation! You may be top dog around here, but it doesn't give you the right to be rude." I say.

"Whatever." He says, unfazed.

"What did you bring me here for, anyway?" I ask.

"For this." Peter says, and crashes his lips onto mine. I kiss back with equally as much passion, but quickly pull away, not wanting him to get away with what he did earlier.

He looked at me and pouted.

"Cheer up, Pancake." I said, ruffling his hair.

"Lets play a game." Peter says, and grabs my hand and leads me outside.

"Oh yay, another one of Peter Pan's super fun games." i say, my voice dripping with sarcasm.
