Luke's POV

We've all just got back from the beach and I'm sitting on the couch with Ashton "did you see what I saw earlier" I say to Ashton "Calum and Marley" he questions "yeah" I say "yeah I did why" Ashton says "well I think he likes her" I say "you think, mate it's obvious he likes her" Ashton says "yeah" I say "the way he looks at her the way he smiles when you say her name the way he was messing around with her in the water it all adds up" Ashton says "is it bad I'm getting over protective" I say bitting down on my bottom lip "no, well I mean she's not actually related to you but I bet she feels like your sister hey" Ashton says I nod "I can't help but think with Calum he has had so many on off relationships that I don't think he can settle down and I don't want Marley to be another fuck and run situation" I say, it sounds harsh that I am saying this about my best mate, I mean I love him and all but he uses girls all the time for a week or two then dumps them, he doesn't settle down and I'm not going to stand back and watch Marley be his next victim "I understand where your coming from mate, and Calum's still got that stalker chick Tessa on his tail anyways" Ashton says I nod.

Calum's POV

I'm in my room with Michael as we finish getting dry "you have a thing for Marley" Michael chimes "no I don't" I say "yeah you so do" Michael says again "okay maybe a small thing" I confess "come on dude really" he says smirking "okay okay I have a big thing for her" I say truthfully "thank you" Michael says smirking "I saw you nearly kiss her you know" he says "shit did Luke see anything" I say "no I don't think so" he says "thank god" I say, it may seem harsh but she's like his sister now and I know he is very protective of her, and with my past history of girlfriends I know what Luke thinks about me, that I can never keep a strong relationship going, the longest relationship I've had is 13 days and that Tessa is still trying to get with me "so dude when you going to ask her out" Michael says "I'm not" I say putting my clothes away "what do you mean your not, you just admitted having a thing for her" Michael says "I just don't think it's a good idea" I say "well mate you need to ask yourself will you catch her when she falls" Michael says I nod as he leaves the room I sit on the edge of my bed Michaels right I need to stop flirting with her I'm no good for her she needs someone who is smart stable and most of all someone who will catch her when she falls.
