Liz has been gone about half an hour and honestly I'm freaking out the wind and rain is so heavy I am having to yell to the boys for them to be able to hear me "do you want hot chocolate" I yell they nod they're trying to watch a film but are getting frustrated because they can't hear it, I go to the kitchen and get out 5 mugs out and make the hot chocolate all of a sudden Luke's phone rings "Hey mum" he says "no mum you can't drive in this weather it's way to dangerous" Luke says "Marley will be fine with me and the boys" he says "okay" he says walking into the kitchen and putting his phone on loud speaker "can you all hear me" Liz says "yeah" we all say "right so I'm stuck at Karens and I'm going to stay here until it's safe enough to drive home, no one is to come over and no one is to leave the house you keep all the windows and doors locked and it's probably best for you guys to sleep downstairs but that's up to you" she says "okay liz" the we say (Luke says mum obviously) "Marley don't be freighted the boys are going to be with you at all times" Liz says "okay Liz" I say "stay safe kids text me if there's any issues" Liz says before the line goes dead "looks like it's just us then" Luke says "Mmm" I mumble biting down on my bottom lip "it's okay" Luke says giving me a hug "I'm going to finish making the hot chocolate" I say pulling away from Luke "I'll help" Calum says smiling I nod as we walk into the kitchen the other boys have gone to check all the windows are locked, Calum bumps my bum with his I laugh "what was that for" I say laughing "I don't know I'm bored" he says "how about we put some music on" Calum says I nod as he puts his phone on the set of speakers on the kitchen top, blink 182 starts playing and I start to bop around the kitchen to the song singing along to the lyrics I notice Calum staring at me smirking "what are you looking at" I say "you" he says "I guessed that but why" I say as I finish stirring the hot chocolates "because your" Calum says but is interrupted by the boys "how long does it take to make hot chocolate" Michael says as he walks into the kitchen "it's ready now" I say all the boys laugh clapping sarcastically I take a bow and laugh along, we all sit down on the sofa listening to the boys tell stories and listen to music, I notice Calum's still looking at me from the corner of my eye, I can't help but think what he was going to say earlier while we were making hot chocolate.
