Chapter 2
I opened my eyes and the were exposed to a bright light.
"Where am I?"
"You are at Elemental Boarding School, the medical ward on an island just south east of Melbourne about 30 minutes from the main land." Came a voice. I turn my head to see the red head I saw before I fainted along with a woman who looked around the age of 30. She wore a long dark blue dress and had white blonde hair and silver eyes. I also notice that the red head girl was wearing red jeans and a brown tank top. "Hello, I am Esmeralda Izidora, headmistress of this school, air elemental." The older woman introduced herself. 'What the hell does she mean by air elemental.' I thought. Seeing my confused expression, she smiled. "You know by now most people would have asked what an elemental is. Elementals are a race of humans that have the ability to control the elements, earth, water, fire and air. I am an air elemental and Miss Brooklyn here," she gestured towards the red head, who made a face for some reason, "can control fire. There is also another type of elemental. One that hasn't been seen for many centuries. They are the full elementals. Ones who control all four elements and could spirt walk. They were thought to be extinct until three days ago when Oliver Ryan attacked you-" I cut her off though.
"Did you just say I've been out for three days?!" I yell and suddenly the ground started to shake. Esmeralda Izidora nodded at Brooklyn, who nodded and ran out the door. "Why didn't you tell me as soon as I woke!? My mum will be worried, what about Laurel and Alexus?! They are my friends! And I have school!" I continue to rant as Brooklyn and another girl who had brown hair and looked around thirteen or fourteen years old. She ran over to me and put a hand on my shoulder and the shaking stopped.
"Headmistress Esmeralda Izidora. Is this all?" She asked. Esmeralda Izidora nodded and the brown haired girl nodded then left. Esmeralda Izidora turned to me. "As I was saying, until three days ago, full elementals were thought to be extinct. Then you showed up on the database."
"The elemental database?" I question.
"It's like a document that contains all elementals. You can ask the database for a name or a particular element and the results of what you asked for." the headmistress explained. "So you showed up on the elemental database. We were worried you had already been attacked so we sent Miss Brooklyn, a fire elemental."
"Okay... So your telling me that I just appeared in some book, and you send a person after me to get me but by the time you got there I was already being attacked? You're insane!" I told her.
"I know it sounds crazy," Esmeralda Izidora told me "but it is true. Here, I'll show you the database." She pulled out a small book. It had a black cover and had faint gold writing on it, and I could just work out the words 'Elemental Database', the headmistress opened up the book and said in a clear voice, "Show me full elementals." The book started glowing and writing appeared:

"Spirit walking?" I asked, my voice filled with curiosity.
"It means that when you fall asleep you have a sort of out of body experience and can go anywhere in the world, you can also communicate with others sleeping. The talent has not been seen for centuries." answered the headmistress. "You are quite an extraordinary person, Oasis Honour."
"Oh no, not you too! What do you mean when you call me Oasis Honour? That Oliver Ryan guy called me that too." What was it with people calling me that?
