"The world will try to kill you with everything it has."

"That's not exactly what I wanted to hear."

I chuckled at the tone in his voice.

"You're a half breed Ken, you're rare, a freak to most but rare."

Kaneki was sitting in a chair while I was walking around the apartment picking things up to show him and teach him a little bit about...most things.

He had a cup of coffee in his hands as he took small sips here and then.

"Y/N-Chan? You're going to be working in Anteiku soon, right?"

I placed another set of things on top of the table, nodding to his question he smiled softly.

"I'm excited to have you as my coworker."

I chuckled. "You shouldn't be too thrilled, I might make the shop lose customers."

"Why is tha-never mind, I know why," I pulled up a chair next to the table and sighed.

"Schools in session, pick an item."

Ken raised an eyebrow, but picked up the mask.

My masks were both half masks. One covered mainly the eyes while the other covered my mouth and nose.

"Masks are to protect you from doves, or, CCG investigators, the CCG is an organization that wants to end ghouls, they track us down and lock us up, or kill us, so while hunting, you wear one of these, for many, it's your signature, your identity to other ghouls and the CCG themselves," Ken ran his fingers over the washed masks.

"How do you get these?"

"I can take you to the dude that makes some pretty good ones, it'll take a couple days."

Kaneki nodded. He then picked up a sheet.

"This is information that I made about every main Kagune, what Rize had was a Rinkaku, Rinkaku's have shining scales, it comes out of about your waist level, on your back obviously, this is the one you have, right?"

Ken rubbed his back and shivered, before nodding.

"Next is the Ukaku, Touka has this type, it is the most common kind of Kagune, Ukaku's have shining feathers, Ukaku's come out between your shoulders, in my opinions, they are very beautiful when they're flowing, they become shards when hardened and ghouls shoot them at their prey."

"I've seen Touka use hers before, a couple times, they kind of hurt, haha," he laughed softly.

I smiled, making sure he didn't notice.

"Bikaku, the least common Kagune, Nishki has this type, Bikaku's come out of ones lower back and are shining tails, I'd say they aren't the strongest Kagune but they get the job done when used well, I personally am not quite fond of them," I felt relaxed around Ken. He had this warm, welcoming feeling to him.

"I've seen Nishio-Senpai's, they're pretty amazing too."

"Yeah, last one is Kokaku, now, Kokaku's are very strong, due to their high level of RC cells, they are sturdy making them great for defense, they usually come out of your middle back, the gourmet has one, he's a motherfucker but a decent fighter...sometimes."

"I met him before, he's...something else."

I chuckled at his statement and gave him the piece of paper with the information.

"Life is hell when you have all four," Ken gasped and my statement.

"A-a-all four!?"

"Yes all four!"
