3rd Person POV:

I let out a tired sigh once I closed the doors to my house as I walked in after school was done.

"Miss Byeol, your brothers ask for you to see them in the study room." I blinked surprisedly as I looked at one of our maids.

"Um thank you for telling me," I replied as I nodded my head before going upstairs, heading toward the study room that my father used to use before he distanced himself from us.

"You need me, Seo Joon, Do Hyun?" I asked once I opened the door of the study room's and was surprised to see my father's personal secretary also in here, sitting on one of the couches that were in the room while my brothers sat on the others. "Mr Choi? You're also here?"

Mr Choi turned to me and gave a warm smile toward me. "Nice to see you, Miss Byeol." He greeted as he stood up and bowed his head respectfully to me.

"Good to see you, too," I replied smiling before walking over to them and stood behind one of the comfy chairs. "Is there something important that requires my attention?" I asked and once I asked that, Mr Choi expressed a solemn look while my brothers looked away with angered looks.

"Miss Byeol, If you don't mind me asking, did Mrs Eun-Jeong see you or ask for me by any chances?" Mr Choi asked.

I stiffened when I remembered the day where I met mother after those 6 years and nodded tensely.

"Oh dear, that is not good." Mr Choi muttered as he put a hand to his temple. "Not good at all."

"What's going on?" I asked worriedly.

"Apparently, that bitch of a mother hired some hitmen on us, including the old man, so she can earn the other half of her shares as well as inheriting the company," Do Hyun explained angrily as he clenched his hands tightly while Seo Joon sat there with a blank look.

My eyes widened in disbelief. "N-No way...she would...she would go that far?" I breathed out in shock.

"Sadly yes, Miss Byeol. That is why your father send me over here so I can tell you three about this matters. As well as to give you these letters." Mr Choi explained before he got out three envelopes and handed us each one that has our names on it. "Those are from your father."

'Father?' I thought as I looked down at the envelope in my hands.

"From now, you three must be careful of your surroundings, your mother's hitmen are instructed to kill you so please be on guard at all costs." Mr Choi stated sternly as me and my brothers nodded in understatement.

After Mr Choi left, I went to my room and sat down on my chair in front of my desk as I stared down at the letter in front of me. 'Finally...I finally get to hear from father, although it is not his voice, at least a letter is something' I thought as I began opening the envelope and pulled out the paper, unfolding it to revealed the familiar cursive writing of father's.
