SEOKJIN STUMBLED BACKWARDS.

He conveniently fell onto the couch behind him, accidentally scaring Eomuk, his cowardly flying squirrel of a familiar.  He apologized to Eomukkie under his breath, and the rodent clung to his shirt, blunt claws digging into skin. He mentally cursed Jeongguk.  Sure, Jeongguk was the prince, but that was no excuse for dumping a massive amount of information on him, over the phone no less! Princess Soyeon was missing, and Soyeon's bumbling brother wanted Seokjin's help finding her?

Seokjin screamed into a nearby pillow.  So much for having a normal day.

He heard a quiet ouch! and something shatter.

"Jin-hyung?" A voice shouted from the kitchen.  It was Soobin, Seokjin's apprentice. Soobin had appeared at his doorstep in desperate need of a home, not long after his last apprentice ran away, claiming the healer's magic shop was 'haunted' (which was probably Seokjin's friend Min Yoongi's fault).  Seokjin had taken the child- who turned out to be a warlock, and quite a powerful one- under his wing. It was a win-win solution; Soobin had a home, pocket money, and good food cooked by Seokjin himself, and Seokjin had an apprentice who helped around in the magic shop and did his chores.  Seokjin did live in the apartment above his magic shop, after all.

"Yah?" The owner of the magic shop shouted back.  Eomuk scuttled off in terror, unused to the vibrations of Seokjin's chest when he spoke.  What had Soobin done this time?

"I'm really sorry, hyung, but I broke your favorite cup again!"

Seokjin sighed, elegantly standing up.  He should've known; Soobin was far too tall for his own good.  At the age of eighteen summers, he towered over most, including Seokjin himself.  Soobin also happened to be a semi-trained warlock with super strength, so had a tendency to break things he couldn't see.

"That's alright!" The healer shouted back, "Just try not to break it again!" Soobin had only been here for a month or so, but it was the fourth time he'd broken the mug.  Oh well. He made his way to the kitchen, greeted with the sight of his favorite mug, shattered; and Soobin, bleeding from a small cut on his forehead.

Seokjin waved a hand, watching white light pulse outwards.  That was part of his magic- he healed, both person and object.  There was a cry of "Thank you!" from Soobin as the skin healed, knitting itself back together.  The boy wiped away the dried blood, and it was almost as if nothing had ever happened.  The mug on the floor shuddered and shook as the pieces mended, settling back onto the shelf where it belonged with a soft whoosh.

"I'm going to find Yoongi," he told his apprentice, "try not to break anything else." Apparently, Seokjin was in charge of 'finding some helpful warlocks', as Jeongguk had put it.  The prince wasn't exactly the brightest bulb in the light, and he probably hadn't planned the whole 'quest' thing through, but Seokjin couldn't say no to Jeongguk's wide, blue eyes, could he?
