~Chapter 3~

I walked to 1st period. I still haven't seen Abbaily. She's still with what's her face. I'm not really paying attention to anything else at the moment. Not paying attention is basically how I meet my friends! I looked at the ground and then I bumped into a girl!

"Uh, sorry!" I said.

"That's fine!" she answered. "Are you new here?"

"Yeah."

"Oh, well in that case, hi my name is Sophia Morgan Benskin."

"I'm Jayne Brooklyn."

"Wanna be friends?"

"Sure." Why not?

"Cool! See ya."

And just like that she left! Wow, I was making friends fast! But I couldn't forget about Abs! And there he was.

"Hey Jayne."

"Hey Jacob Dylan."

"So, um wanna go to the football game on Friday?"

Was he asking me out? No he wasn't.

"Yeah, sure, but can I bring a friend?"

"Why not?"

"Okay then."

"I guess I'll see you then."

"Okay, bye."

I forgot to give him my number and my address. Oh well!

First period- Biology: I love science. It was OKAY! I didn't meet anybody. Teach: Mrs. Grinch

2nd period- Math: Abs was there!!!! We sat together and passed notes. - Mr. Applehead

A- Hey! How's life?

j- Well considering your name is Margaret-Abbi now, not well.

a- uh.....

j- I barely see u.😭

a- she's horrible, i no!

"Girls!" Mr. Applehead said.

"Sorry!" we both said at the same time.

We continued learning about algebra thingabadoodlies.

After algerbra, Abs and I head over to our lockers and Ara is there.

"Hey girls!!" Ara waves.

"Hi!" Abs and I say back.

"Have you finally gotten rid of that Margaret?"

"Not really. I kind of walked away and she didn't even notice!"

"Shallow.."

"I KNOW RIGHT!!!" Abs and I said loudly.

Should I tell them both about Jacob Dylan? Or should I just wait to tell Abs when we get home? I don't know what to do!!! But I'm gonna calm down I think. Okay.... mmmmmm.. Okay. I still don't know what to do, but I know that it's gonna be-

"Jayne! Why were you talking to JD before first period? TWICE??"

Um... I think I really don't want to tell a girl that I just met! But I gues since he's her bestfrie-

"We're cousins! Not bestfriends, GEEZ!"

OMG SHE READ MY MIND!!! Um, okay, well, I'll tell her... But I want to tell Abs alone!

"I.. I uh... I said that I was sorry for bumping into him earlier!" I said.

"Guys, I gotta go. See ya later, Jay!" Abs left.

"Jay?" Ara asked.

"Nevermind, um are you going to the football game?"

"Yeah, I'm going with JD. And he said he asked a girl to go with him!!! Ahhh so exciting!!!!"

What?!!!??!?! He DID ask me out!!! OMG! And of course, I like him. I mean he's TOTALLY H😍T!🔥

"Cool. I'm going with Abs." I replied.

" 'Kay girl, I'm gonna go to 3rd period, it's English and your in it with me! Come on!"

"Okay!"

We walked to English.

3rd period- English with Mrs. General

I walked in and I saw a boy that I have known since birth. Wayne.

" 'Sup Jay!"

"Hi Wayne..."

I sat next to him Ara looked at me like I was crazy! I guess she thinks we're together... I guess our parents want that to happen too!

4th period- History: With Mrs. Monty

I sit next to Wayne again. Jacob Dylan walks in. And sits on the other side of me. And the cute guy from the Sassy Girl bubble comes in and sits behind me. Oh no...

"Hey." Wayne, Jacob Dylan, and the cute guy say all at the same time.

This was awkward...

"Hey.." I answered.

Wayne narrows his eyes at the other boys. I give him the STOP RIGHT NOW BUTTBRAIN look and his eyes soften. He's so cute! With those little blue eyes and that wavy dirty, but golden blonde hair..... STOP JAYNE NOW!! You're about to start dating Jacob Dylan (probably). Why are you thinking about Wayne?

"I'm Timothy. Tim for short."

"Hi Tim, I'm-"

"Jayne Brooklyn." Wayne and Jacob Dylan, goshness! UGH.

"Yeah, what they said." I tell Tim.

"Seems like you've made some friends." He answered.

RINGGGGGG!! The bell. Class started. BORINGGGG!

Next- Lunch. I met Ara and Abs at my locker and Ara led us to the lunch room. We picked a table and got lunch. Wayne and Jacob Dylan came in at the same time! Oh no, not again! They sat next to us. One on both sides of me. Then Tim came in, Margaret called him over.

"Tim come sit with us!" She said.

"No thanks," Tim replied. " 'Sup BAE."

Um...

"Excuse you!" Ara said. "She can't be yours! She's taken!"

"I am? I mean um..." I said.

Wayne narrowed his eyes. I grabbed his hand and squeezed it. A signal to let him know to backoff.

After lunch, we went to the front desk. Abs got a new buddy. It was Sophia Morgan Benskin.

The rest of the day was boring.

All I could think about for the rest of the day were my choices. Okay, Jayne think. You have three- no, four choices:

1. Jacob Dylan- So hot!! I just met him. But he seems nice.

2. Timothy- Cool. Popular. It would make Margaret jealous!

3. Wayne- I've known him since birth. He loves me like a brother. But now its been getting more serious. He's cute. I love his blonde hair and his blue sparkly eyes...

4. Be single....
