Apparently I had passed out in the car! Mr. Wade didn't know what to do so he just took me to the nurse's office.
"Do you feel better?" The nurse asked.
"I felt fine this morning, I don't know why I would've passed out.." I said.
She checked my temperature. It was 104.5.
"Oh my! You have a really high fever, Jayne! You must've hallucinated and passed out. I'll call your mom to come pick you up."
"Yes ma'am."
That's weird. A few seconds later, one of the teachers brought Wayne in. He had fainted too. He also had a fever of 103.9.
"That's strange... You two live together so there must be a virus going around. I'll go check on Isadora and Anderson. Then, I'll call your parents. Just relax here okay?"
"Yes ma'am," We said.
Wayne fell asleep again and Mr. Wade came to pick us up. What's wrong with us? I think I either fainted or dozed off.
"Hi sweetie," It was my mom. "Do you feel better?"
"I think so." I answered. "How's Wayne?"
"Um, he's uh.. he um.. sweetie you need some rest. I'll tell you about him later. Uh, you just, uh get some slee-"
"WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH WAYNE, REGINA??!?!" I yelled.
"OKAY! First of all I'm not regina, second of all I'm your mother and I demand respect, third of all you're not allowed to scream at me!" I rolled my eyes. "And fourth of all, Wayne......"
Uh oh this can't be good.
"Wayne is in the hospital..."
