"Hello my name is Bethany I will be your waitress today. Can I start you off with anything to drink?"

"Sprite please." Jen said as the waitress wrote down the drinks and left "So I Halloween is soon and-"
"Sorry to interrupt but this group costume would look so cute on us." She said excitedly and showed us the photo

"I'd be down " Jen said the waitress came back with our drinks
While we were gossiping a certain someone was looking at her phone and didn't notice us as she sat in the booth behind us
I turned around so my body was over the booth and scared her "So we look past people and don't speak?"
"Girl you scared me" she laughed and looked behind her to see who all was sitting at the table.
"Jen, scoot over" Lorrane said as she sat on the side with Jen and we all started to talk to each other Lorrane took off her apron and started to speak
"So what are you all talking about?" "Look at this." Jen said showing the costume idea we had
That's such a cute idea!"Lorraine stayed but by her voice I could tell she started to feel insecure inside
"I don't know...I just feel like we should pick a different costume."
"Pick another one? come on Lorraine there is a sale for this costume right now. It's normally $250." Jen stated as she twirled the straw in my drink
"I know but what will the others think when they see us in that costume?"
"What will they think? They don't have to know what we wearing and even in they do know, they will be okay. We can protect ourselves." Austin lecturers on and on convincing her more to just not care what people think and when she agreed to wear the costume we all started to cheer
We got a lot of people starting at us but we didn't mind it.
"I hope this doesn't ruin my reputation.." She said to herself "It won't, it'll make you more popular though" I stayed as Lorrane let out a sigh
