SMG4: Super Mario X Meggy Galaxy 2

Chapter 10: Shiverburn Galaxy

Once Mario and Meggy heard the name Shiverburn Galaxy, they were immediately reminded of Freezeflame Galaxy from their previous galaxy adventure.

Meggy: Looks like we have another galaxy in familiar territory.

Mario: I'm getting a lot of flashbacks of Freezeflame Galaxy. So many memories in this adventure.

Meggy: Indeed.

They flew over to Shiverburn Galaxy, and they saw a bunch of platforms above lava in front of them.

Mario: Looks like we gotta jump across these platforms and then we'll be fine. You ready, Meggy?

He saw Meggy looking up a little scared.

Mario: Meggy?

Meggy: Uh... Mario? You gotta look at this.

Mario looked at what Meggy was looking at and immediately freaked out.

Mario: OH, OH MY GOD! OH GOD! WHAT THE F*CK! WHAT THE F*CK, OKAY?!

They saw shadowy figures with glowing eyes looking right at them.

Meggy: Mario. I'm scared.

Mario: Me too, Meggy.

They started to shiver in fear and hug each other.

Meggy: Are they gonna kill us?

Mario: *stutters a lot* I DON'T KNOW!

Meggy: Maybe they'll go away once we start moving.

Mario: Okie dokie. Let's just ignore those scary people.

They jumped from platform to platform and stood on one platform moving across the lava. They made sure not to fall in it, as they came across a big red button. They ground pounded the button, as all of the lava turned into ice.

Meggy: Whoa! It's all ice now!

Mario: Let's skate, my darling.

Meggy: Okay, sweetheart.

They both started to skate through the planet together, and at the end of the planet, they went into a Launch Star and flew into the next planet. It was above lava and spherical. The stone platforms were moving left and right across the lava, and they were trying their best to not fall in the lava again.

Meggy: Be very careful, Mario. I don't want you to burn.

Mario: I got this under control, Meggy! Ooh, a shiny medal!

The Comet Medal Mario was looking at wasn't above ground, as Meggy pulled him away from it.

Meggy: Mario, don't fall in.

Mario looked down to see lava he was about to land in.

Mario: Oh... Sorry, Meggy.

Meggy: It's alright, Mario. I just want you to be safe.

They went to the next planet, which was flat and covered in ice, with some puddles of lava in a few places.

Meggy: Alright, Mario. We gotta be extremely careful while we skate on here. Okay?

Mario: Okie dokie!

They very carefully skated across the ice while jumping over the lava and just avoiding it in general, as they stopped when there was just nothing but lava in front of them. They saw 5 big enemies coming out of the lava and started to spit fiery balls at them, occasionally spitting out coconuts too.

Meggy: We tussled with these guys on our previous space adventure. We can do this!

With the help of the Luma, they spun once the coconuts were near them, and they ricocheted back at the enemies, defeating them. A path of stones came out of the lava, and it gave them a chance to run to the other side.

Mario: Great job, Meggy! You're a great spinner!

Meggy: Thanks. You were great too.

They saw that ice platforms were appearing and disappearing above the lava. They timed their jumps correctly and moved on to the final planet, which was an ice platform with someone riding on it. It was Prince Pikante.

Mario: Who is this guy?

Meggy: I know who he is. It's someone who's gonna get their butt kicked, that's who!

Mario: No, I'm serious. Who is this gu-whatever. Let's just kill this dude already.

Prince Pikante shot fiery balls out of his mouth and the three cannons from his vehicle. Only occasionally he shot coconuts, but they were too fast for Mario and even Meggy to handle because they tried to avoid him. The fiery balls made lava puddles once they hit the ice.

Meggy: We gotta be very quick about this, Mario!

Mario looked at Prince Pikante angrily.

Mario: Get ready to move your pingas!

They moved quicker in dodging him and moving towards the coconuts being shot out of his mouth. Mario spun and hit a coconut, ricocheting back to Prince Pikante and hitting him. Meggy did the same thing to him again, as he started to get angry.

Prince Pikante: YOU DONE F*CKED UP NOW!

He shot fiery balls out of his mouth into the sky. They were now raining on the ice, causing many lava puddles to appear on the ice.

Mario: Mama mia!

More lava puddles were being made, and they were avoiding them as best as they can, as they dealt the last hit on Pikante with another coconut, killing him.

Meggy: Oh yeah! He's defeated!

Mario: Mario's pingas is so happy!

They grabbed the Star, and as they went back, they got one question on their mind. What were those shadowy figures on the hill beside them? They may never know.

Ooh. Very scary.

Only 2 chapters remain! The next one is gonna be Throwback Galaxy, and the final chapter is gonna be the showdown between Mario and Meggy, and SMG3 and Desti. It all ends here tomorrow! See you there!
