chapter 5

Beca's pov.

I didn't fall alseep at all last night. I was thinking and researching about werewolfs. I found an article online with some werewolf stuff on. The obvious one is apperently being weak against silver. It should burn my skin just by touching it for a second. I'm glad that i don't own anything silver. The next thing that i read about is wolfsbane or also known as genus aconitum. It's a poisonous plant. It shoulds only give humans a small fever and make the puke a bit but for werewolfs it could be hell. Apperently we won't die from it but we will feel like it. I hope that i'll never get to know how bad it is. No more purple plants for me. I rub my eyes and yawn. Most of the things on the internet is just bullshit tho. Like the one saying that only your hair, nails and teeth grow. That's not true. I've only changed into a wolf but never in between. I don't even know if that's possible. I close my laptop and stretch before going downstairs. Everyone is in the kitchen eating when they see me walk in.

 "Beca! There you are. Are you okay?" ashley asks me.

 Suddenly almost all the bellas are asking me how i am and what happend but before i have the chance to respond chloe speaks up.

Chloe's pov.

"Alright guys. Let her be for now. All that matters is that she's here and safe. Now aren't most off you supposed to go to class right now?" i ask them. 

That seems to do the trick. Everyone exept for lily, Stacie, ashley, beca and me leave for class in a hurry. I shake my head while i drink my coffee.

 "You okay beca? You look like you haven't slept all night." ashley asks beca.

 Now that i take a good look at her. There are dark purple bruises under her eyes and she's still wearing the same clothes that she was wearing yesterday.

 "Yeah, that's probably because i haven't slept at all last night." beca says.

 My eyes widen when she says that. I give her my cup of coffee and she gives me a smile. 

"You're an angel, red." beca says. 

She sits down and starts to drink the coffee.

 "I thought that i orderd you to go to sleep last night." i said.

 Beca looks at me and shrugs.

 "I uh, was busy with something." beca says.

 I raise my eyebrow.

 "Busy with something. What is that something?" i ask her. 

Beca opens her mouth but just as she was about to say something stacie interrupts her.

 "Ohw shit! Chlo, we have to go. You still want that lift to your class right?" stacie asks me.

 I sigh and nod.

 "Yeah let's go." i say. 

I'll ask beca about it later then.

Beca's pov.

Stacie and chloe just left and i'm glad that stacie interupted her. I didn't know what i was supposed to say to that. Ohw, i was up all night researching about werewolfs and their weaknesses to make sure that i won't accidently hurt myself. Ohw yeah, by the way i'm a werewolf guys! Yeah right, like i can say that.

 "Alright guys. I'm going to the library right now guys. See you later!" ashley says.

 I wave at her as she leaves and smile when lily sits down infront of me.

 "So, your classes also start at like one pm right? Wanna go together?" i ask lily.

 Lily says nothing and just stares at me. I wave my hand infront of her face. 

"Helloooo? Lily? You okay?" i ask.

 "You're a werewolf." she says, more like whispers, but somehow i managed to understand her. 

Probably because my hearing is that of a wolf. Wait, hold on. Did she just say what i think she said?

 "What did you say?" i ask lily. 

"You are a werewolf. Don't try to deny it. I figured it all out." lily says without blinking at all.

 How the fuck does she know!? Shit, this isn't good. This isn't good at all.
