The Girl

Narrator's POV

"What?! Of course not!" The flustered Alex ran away, leaving poor James behind.

It was only 12 o'clock when Alex realises that he had left James by himself while they were skipping school, he knew that James could get into a lot of trouble if somebody saw him on their way to school. 'He's probably back in school now, either somebody dragged him back to school or he decided to a few hours ago...maybe I should go and check' Alex thought. He began his journey back to the park, which only took a few minutes. Although, on the way to the park Alex met a year 5 skipping school and when they saw him they pissed themselves. That sure was a story to tell. When Alex finally made his way to the park he noticed something strange. James was still there but with an unfamiliar girl. Alex was about to say something before he saw that the girl had kissed James. Alex stood in complete shock, feeling the urge to just Kirby stomp the girl. "See you later, babe!" James waved goodbye to her as she started to walk off.

Alex ran away. He ran to the nearest shop (being the spar) and grabbed as many ice cream boxes he could carry, he paid for them and started running again. All the way back to his house. The calories he has just burned were about the be replaced with the calories in the ice cream when Alex got home but then he stopped once he saw his reflection in the mirror that was hung in his hallway. 'Is this really...me? Eating my feelings away because I saw my crush kiss his girlfriend?" Alex thought for a moment. 'Yeah' He rushes upstairs to his room and started throwing spoons of ice cream into his mouth, one by one. This was about the time his older brother (Not sure if he actually has one so just go along with it) would get back from work, so when his brother went into Alex's room to take his charger he was shocked to see Alex scarfing down vanilla ice cream. "What. Are. You. Doing. Home?" His brother tried to keep his temper. "Mycrushtriedtoskips-choolandtookmebutiha-dnochoicesoiw-entandthenhekissedth-isgirlwhowasthegirlf-riendandiranhomewith-icecream!" Alex cried. "Uh, could you say that slower by any chance?" Alex's brother asked. "My crush tried to skip school and took me but I had no choice so I went and then he kissed this girl who was the girlfriend and I ran home with ice cream..." Alex wiped his eyes, the tears still streaming down his pale face. "Wait did you say he?" His brother asked, confused. "No I said she what are you talking about u would not say he stop asking me questions" Alex threw his head into his pillow. "I'm going to sleep" He mumbled, signalling for his brother to leave him alone. "Fine, fine, just don't do this again" His brother left the room, not realising he forgot Alex's charger that he came to get.
