The warm droplets of water hitting my cold skin, making me wince at the sudden change of temperature. I stopped eating ice cream. I stopped eating anything. Without James by my side, I felt like I was only a half. He completed me and I am not ashamed to admit that he was the reason I live. Before he was with me I felt alone but also in a crowd, as though I was not there. Not existing. But when James came along, it was like every light in the hallways had all gotten brighter and that I suddenly got weak in the knees, I just wanted him to carry me bridal style into the sunset. Now, I really remember what the feeling of being alone is like. It's always been so familiar to me, especially now I know I definitely don't have a chance with James.
