~Chapter 26~

~Tessa's P.O.V~

Me and Leonard are at my house, we just finished shopping.

He was just sitting on the couch as I walked into the kitchen to get a can of coke.

"Would you like one?" I asked.

"Uh- no, but thanks" he plastered an  apologetic smile.

I went to sit on the couch but I heard Leonard's phone ringing.

I stopped in my tracks, I'm not spying on him but I wanted to know what was up.

"Hello?"

"Yeah, sure"

"I'll be there soon"

"Okay, bye"

"Love you"

I stood there not knowing what to say or do.

What the fuck is happening?

Who does he love? I felt my eyes water a little.

I was pulled out my worried thoughts when I heard footsteps coming towards me.

"Erm Tess? I gotta go" he said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Erm, okay" I said putting my can on the island, as I walked to the door.

"Sorry, bye" he said, kissing my forehead as he walked out.

"Bye" I said, as I closed the door.

I walked over to grab my can and headed to my bedroom.

I was really bored and the weather doesn't seem to be great today.

My mind flickered to the moment where he said 'I love you' before he hung up.

I avoided thinking about that, I could be over thinking it.

I grabbed my phone that was lying on my nightstand.

Shall I text Justin?

- Hey☺ 

I didn't want to annoy him, so all I said was 'hey' and a smiley face.

Yeah boring, I know.

I looked over at my closet and saw a white bag lying on the floor.

I walked off my bed and went over to the bag.

I held the bag in my hands and went back to my bed.

I took the item out and gasped, it was the dress I wanted to buy.

I smiled, I think Leonard bought it and I owe him a 'thank you'.

I bought my phone to my lap and typed his number on the dial pad.

I bought my phone to my ear waiting for a response.

"Hey tha-"

"Hi, kind of busy right now but leave a message"

I didn't leave a message I just hanged up, he wasn't going to answer back anyways.

I threw my phone on my bed and fell back onto my pillow.

Nothing to do, I thought to myself.

I just layed there looking at the ceiling.

I felt my eyes get heavier and heavier but my phone vibrated.

I groaned and moved my hands in multiple places to find my phone but no luck.

I pushed myself up, grabbing it and unlocking it.

- Hey, so long since we spoke eh?

I replied in a matter of seconds.

- Yeah, I know. Kinda busy

- Don't worry

- Can u call me?

- Yeah

*Ring *Ring

I pressed 'answer' as a smile grew on my face.

"Hey"

"Hey, how are you?"

"Good but I've been better, You?"

"Yeah, same"

"How's Jason?"

"He's good but he's kind of busy, if you wanted to talk to him"

"No, its okay. Just tell him I said hi?"

"Yeah, I'll call you later?"

"Yeah, wait?"

"Hmm?"

"Tell Jason that I miss him and I love him?"

"Yeah, I will"

"Bye"

"Bye"

I just laid there still looking at the ceiling.

I closed my eyes and thought about random stuff.
