Chapter 8

Quinn's POV

I finished editing the video and I posted it, instantly thousands of people clicked on it.

I was so excited

I'm sitting on the sofa watching tv and the rest of the boys are asleep, it's 11 am. I hear someone knock on the door so I go answer it and it's a guy that I don't recognize

Me: how may I help you?

The guy asks me if I'm home alone and I find that a weird question, but I say yes even though it's not true. I start to close the door cuz of bad vibes, but he kicks it open and grabs me.He pushes me further into the house and onto the sofa.

Me: help!!!!
Him: take off your shirt!
Me: no!! Help!!
He starts to grab me but u stand up and kick him in where the sun don't shine
Me:Jonah!!!
The guy grabs my hair and pushes me against the wall, but I smack him.
Me: get the fuck away from me
He kicks me and I punch him in the stomach and moves back a little
I get the lamp that Zach randomly likes to pick up and start hitting him with it. He punches me in the face and I continue to hit him with the lamp
Him: holy shit, you're insane
He starts kicking me but I hit him in the head with the lamp again and he falls to the ground. I hear all the boys coming downstairs

Zach: what are you doing with my lamp?

I point to the guy on the floor and all the boys look down. My nose was bleeding . And my eye was red and my stomach hurt a lot.

Jonah: baby what happened
Me: this guy knocked on the door and asked me if anyone else was in the house and I said no and started to close the door but he opened it and told me to take my shirt off. And I wouldn't so he started fighting me and then I started to hit him with the lamp.

Zach: awh my little girl learned from me
Me: I'm older than you
Zach: ok,but the lamp is my thing
Me: mmmm but the lamp is my thing mmm
I mock him
Zach: well you seem like you're fine
Me: I'm just kidding, you know you're one of my besties
Daniel: yeah and I'm the other one
Me: exactly
Jack: ok, I'm jelly, Quinn Zach is my man
Zach: no, I'm Quinn's
Jonah: actually I'm Quinn's
Daniel: I am
Zach:I am
Me: guys you're all mine, I rule the world
They all look at me and laugh
Corbyn being the mature boy he is (even though Jonah's the oldest) goes and gets an ice pack .
Corbyn: here, and I'm queen of the world
Me: I'm king of the world, haha king has more power than queen
Zach: so now you two are married
Me: yessss!!! I ship it!!!
Jonah: excuse you (he says playfully)
Corbyn: Quinn and corbyn for life
Me: yassssss
Jack: am I the only one worried about if she's ok
Me: I'm fine
Jack: really cuz your eye and nose say something different
Me: relax, it's just a nosebleed, I've felt worse and I have been punched in the eye before, it's fine
Jack: you sure?
Me: yes
The boys drag him a little but away from the house, knowing he'd wake up soon and they come back.
I clean up my face and then go back with the boys Jonah makes us watch Harry Potter . After watching 2 hrs of that the boys want to play truth or dare again. And I agree, but go into the bathroom first.when I walk in and close the door I lift up my shirt and see a bunch of bruises from when he kicked me. I ignore it and go back outside, I sit down on the floor with the boys.but then we decide just to do truth and that everyone has to answer each one except whoever is asking.

Corbyn: biggest secret?

Daniel: I used to like Quinn
Zach: me too
Me: me three
All the boys look at me and smile
Jack: I lost my virginity
Me: I also lost my virginity
Jonah: I cheated on Quinn
Me: what!!!!!
Corbyn : oh shit
Me: I- wha- why?
Jonah: I was drunk
Me: bu-tha- That doesn't make a difference

Daniel Walks over to me,sits next to me and pulls me into his arms
Daniel: are you ok?
Me: no
Zach: Jonah what the fuck, why would you do that!?
Daniel: exactly, you literally have the most amazing girlfriend in the world
Me: had, he had a girlfriend
Daniel: you were so fucking lucky to have her!!

I bury my head in Daniels chest, I feel his hand on the back of my head and fall asleep there.

Jonah: dude-
Zach: no, can't you see that we both loved her and pushed that aside so you could have her and all you did was give her up
Daniel: you're a piece of shit

Daniels POV
I bring her upstairs bridal style and lay her on my bed and I'm about to lay down on the floor and she squeezes my hand. I crawl into bed next to her and wrap my arms around her as a tear falls from her eye for the first time in years.

Jonah's POV
Me: Zach!! It was a fucking prank, you idiot!
Zach: oh

Corbyn and jack are just sitting there with shocked expressions on their faces

Jack: what just happened?
Corbyn: I think Daniel and Zach love Quinn

Zach and I: shut up!
Zach: well go upstairs and tell her, cuz she thinks you're broken up now.

I run up the stairs, still recording and see Daniel cuddling with Quinn.I know she's a deep sleeper, so I talk in my regular voice.
Jonah: what's wrong with you?
Daniel: what's wrong with me?
Jonah: yeah, it was a prank
Daniel: you're fucked up
Jonah: me,you guys pulled this kind of prank on me
Daniel: she cried
Jonah: ok, well I'm sorry
Daniel: she hasn't cried in over 7 years
Jonah: wha?
Daniel: not even when she got raped
Jonah: oh, I feel really bad
Daniel: yeah, you should
Jonah: why exactly are you cuddling with her though, does us breaking up mean you can do that the same day?
Daniel: 1 she's my best friend,2 yes, yes it does,3 if no one stayed with her she might have hurt herself

I stop recording, I had forgotten I was and I figure she can edit it out later.

Daniel gets up and let's me take his place next to her.

Me: you love her, don't you?
Daniel: I really do
Me: I'm sorry
Daniel: it's fine, I just want her to be happy

Daniel walks away and I have this feeling that our friendship ended there.
