Christmas and the New Year flew straight passed before I knew it. Somehow I got suckered into being one to drop the kids off at school.
While the girls were getting dressed, I was setting out the cereal options for the morning. I woke up an hour before I woke them up so I could be fully awake... if that makes sense.
"BB I need help!" I put the milk on the table and jogged upstairs. I saw Koi with both of her legs in one leg hole and Nyla had her shoes on the wrong feet.
"Y'all just a mess." I laughed and sat on Koi's bed while I got them together.
Koi and Nyla begged me and Nika to let Nyla stay for the weekend. I didn't have a problem with it but Nika wasn't budging. That was up until they both cried at the same time.
When their clothes were straight, I did their hair.

"Grab your backpacks and go downstairs for breakfast."
I walked across the hall to Solange's room. She was in the mirror combing her hair. "You know I don't have to be at school until eight, right?" she never looked at me. How the hell she know it was me? I could have been a burglar or something.
"Yeah, we can go grab breakfast after I drop them off."
- "So, how is school going?" I asked Solange. She sat across from me, eating a sausage McGriddle.
"It's cool. How is it for you? You excited about being a senior?"
"I can't complain about it. It's bittersweet though. When I graduate, I'm going to miss the court, the team, the wins, the L's, just everything."
"Mama and daddy been fighting a lot recently. When you and Ash are around they put on a front but when y'all leave, it's bad." she blurted out.
"Wait why?" I was shocked because I thought they fixed their marriage after my dad stepped out on my mama and had Koi.
"Mama think he's cheating again."
"Wow. I hate that you have to go through that. How can I make it better for you?"
