Sunrise Brings Good Vibes

I opened my eyes to see the time on the alarm clock next to the bed read 6:00 am. I rolled over to see Nate still sleep next to me. After the amazingly good sex we had earlier, we just laid next to each other in bed and watched movies until we both got tired. 

I looked over at the window and saw it was somewhat light outside but the sun wasn't out yet. 

"Baby," I said, shaking Nate a little bit, "wake up." He didn't budge.

I rolled on top of him and began kissing his neck, slowly making my way down to his bare chest. 

"Mmmm." He groaned as he began to open his eyes.

"Good morning, beautiful." He said, giving me a smile.

"Good morning, Nathan." I said, returning the smile.

"Why are you up so early, babe?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around me.

"I don't know I just woke up and couldn't fall back asleep. But I got an idea and that's why I woke you up."

"What's your idea, lil mama?" 

"I was thinking we could go to the beach nearby and watch sunrise. It's only 6:05 and the sun doesn't rise until 6:50ish." I said, playing with his hair.

"Of course we can do that. Let's just throw on some clothes and brush our teeth then go." He said, looking down at me with a smile. I smiled back then gave him a quick peck on the cheek and lips before getting off of him and heading to my room to grab some clothes to change into.

Maggie was knocked out in her bed and she's a pretty heavy sleeper so I wasn't too worried about waking her up by moving around a lot in the room. 

I brushed my teeth and threw my hair in a messy ponytail with my favorite scrunchie then went to the closet to search for some clothes. I decided I would wear one of Nate's hoodies, some Nike shorts and some birkenstocks. 

I met Nate downstairs then we left to head to the beach. 

It was still pretty early so the car ride was quiet besides the soft music playing throughout the car. 

Once we got to the beach, we decided to get out and walk along the shore.

"This was a good idea. Just get away from the house and everyone and just enjoy some alone time between the two of us, ya know, that doesn't include sex." Nate said with a short laugh. I laughed too and nodded.

"I love you, Nathan. A lot actually. I want the rest of this trip to be fun and result in this being the best week of our lives. No fighting between us or anyone else. This is supposed to be a break from our stressful, busy lives back home in California so there's no need for any of that. This needs to be a family bonding that brings us all closer than before." I said holding his hand as we walked closer to the water.

"I love you very much too and I agree with you all the way, baby." 

I looked at the time and saw that it was 6:50. The sky had gotten lighter from the time we left the house til now. We're now standing on the beach, Nate's arms wrapped around me, my head leaning against his chest, waiting to see the sunrise.

"It's so pretty." I said in awe of the view.

"Not as pretty as the girl in my arms." Nate said with a smile. I turned around and gave him a kiss. I don't know this man did it, but he's really got me falling so deep in love with him. 

I took a picture of the sunrise and decided I would post it after we made it back to the car.
