I woke to the sound of my phone vibrating on the nightstand next to my bed. I carefully rolled over to pick it up.
"Hello?" I spoke into the phone.
"Hey, Alexa!" What the heck is he doing calling me at... 6:54 a.m.?!
"What's up Gilinsky?"
"For some reason I can't go to sleep. Can we meet up somewhere or something?" He asked. I didn't really want to get out of bed at 6:54 in the morning to meet up with Jack. Justin is still here, asleep in my bed right beside me. I couldn't just ask him to leave or leave him in my house. The dogs would flip out and that's kind of rude to just ditch someone for someone else, if you ask me.
"I'm a little busy right now." I said as Justin moved around, still asleep.
"Oh, okay. Maybe later?" He asked.
"Sure. I'll talk to you later."
"Okay. Bye." The call ended. I sighed and sat my phone back down on the nightstand. I looked over at Justin to see that he was still asleep. I slowly got out of bed and waddled over to my dresser grabbing a bra and underwear then waddled over to the bathroom. I stripped off my clothes and then stepped into the shower. As the hot water hit my body I thought back to last night. Justin made me forget about Jack and what he was most likely doing with that girl back at his place. Did they have sex in the room with all of my old stuff? Why am I thinking about him? Ugh. I can't seem to go a minute without thinking about him. I can't keep using Justin to get Jack out of my head, that's disgusting and it would never work. This was a one night stand, Justin and I can continue to be friends but I just can't use him as a distraction. Maybe Justin was right last night, maybe I do still like Jack. I mean seriously, I'm standing here thinking about what Jack was doing with that girl and I hate the thought of them possibly being together.
I turned off the water and reached for my towel on the door. I put on the undergarments I had brought into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and hair and put on deodorant then walked back into the room. I was shocked to see Justin up and on his phone. I walked over to my dresser and bent down to find a pair of grey Nike joggers. I pulled them out the draw and pulled them on noticing the hickeys all down my stomach. I shook it off and went to the closet to put together the rest of my outfit. When I walked back out of the closet, fully dressed, I saw Justin sending me a death glare. I didn't exactly plan on teasing him, I just happened to bend down with a thong on.
"Don't do that ever again." Justin said looking down to his friend. I laughed.
"It was never my intention to do that." I said walking over to him.
"Do you have plans for today?" Justin asked.
"Well, Jack called me earlier this morning and asked if we could meet up later and chill, but I honestly would rather be with you." I said wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Are you sure? You can go with him if you want." Justin said placing his hands on both sides of my waist.
"I'm sure. I just want to be with you today." I said, kissing his cheek. What am I doing? Justin smiled and picked me up, throwing me over his shoulder.
"What are you doing?" I asked, laughing.
"I'm going to make you breakfast." He said.
"In my house? It should be the other way around." I said as he sat me down on the counter.
"Oh well. We're doing it my way." He said as he looked through the cabinets looking for something to make us. Finally, Justin found what he was looking for, pancake mix. He walked to the fridge and got out the ingredients plus some cinnamon to add into the mix. I watched as he mixed the batter. He poured some of the mix onto the skillet and then sat the bowl down. He dipped his finger into the bowl and walked over to me. He placed his finger that was now covered in the mix in front of my face. I looked at Justin making sure I understood. He smiled and nodded. I grabbed his hand and placed his finger in my mouth. I sucked the mix off of his finger staring him in the eye. He bit the inside of his cheek as I rolled my tongue around his finger. I got a little carried away and Justin seemed to noticing as I wrapped my legs around his waist. I removed Justin's finger from my mouth and batted my eyelashes at him. I wasn't exactly sure what I had just done to Justin but it seemed to please him.
"Someone got a little carried away." Justin said making me giggle.
"Someone enjoyed that a little too much." I said acknowledging that his friend was out again. He smirked.
"Well, you can't expect me to not get a boner when a beautiful girl like you is sucking pancake mix off of my finger." My cheeks heated up. I haven't felt this way in a long time. I haven't necessarily been in a relationship with someone since I dated Jack. There's been a few hookups since the first year of college, but that ended near the end of the year. Nothing like 'fuck and dumps'. Justin kissed my forehead then walked back over to the skillet.
"These are actually really good, Justin. I'm impressed!" I said after taking a bite of the pancakes.
"They are. I'm just as impressed as you are!" He said while taking another bite.

Justin and I are currently laying on the sofa in the theater room watching Friday. We're snuggled up under a big, thick, fuzzy blanket on the extended part of the sofa. Beside us on the floor are both of the dogs asleep. Justin keeps drawing on my side with his finger. Jack used to do that. No, Alexa. Now is not the time to be thinking of Jack. I giggled and flinched when Justin traced his finger over my ribs.
"Ah, so that's where you're ticklish!" He said smirking.
"No, Justin. Don't!" I said before he started tickling me.
"JUSTIN!! S-ST-OOPPP!!" I screamed as he continued to tickle me. We both ended up on the floor laughing. Justin was on top of me still tickling my sides, while I was underneath him holding back my tears.
"Justin, please!" I begged. He did as I asked and just stared at me.
"What? Is there something on my face?" I asked, panicking.
"No. No. You're just really beautiful, Alexa." He said, smiling down at me. I felt my cheeks heat up. I quickly looked down, hoping he wouldn't notice. Unfortunately, he did. He tilted my head up using his finger.
"You look adorable when you blush." I covered my face with my hands. He's so cheesy, but I love it. Justin pried my hands off my face. We laid there staring at each other for what felt like forever, until we both started to lean in. As our lips were about to attach, my phone started ringing. I sighed and rolled out from underneath Justin and looked at the caller ID.
"Dammit, Jack." I sighed out of frustration, ignoring the call and continuing where Justin and I left off.
