A change of heart part 6

 Not knowing how the prisoners were able to break out the only thing Michael can do was to find them before anything else happened. but what puzzled him the most was why did tsume knock him out could she have possibly known that they were going to break out or could she have been the one that did it when she went to visit them, he didn't want to believe that she was behind it not after creating a sort of relationship with her

Michael heard over the radio that they're looking for the culprits and to stand clear until further notice. then there was an explosion that happened downtown causing ruckus among people, he couldn't believe that this was happening, the radio station was going crazy not knowing how a bomb was able to explode near the central if town and that it could have been the leader of black cats doing the bombing so Michael headed down to the jail that they held the boss of black cats

"Tell me the truth are you behind this?"

One of the officers shouted out at the guy but he only evil chuckled not answering his question

"You guys put him into questioning?"

Michael asked another cop

"yes we've been questioning him for hours before the explosion but apparently, he won't even give us a word on what his plan is he just said his children always come back and they have come to retrieve their Daddy"

The cop said as Michael decided to walk in

"Ah, detective Michael it is so finally glad to meet you, I see you are the one that has fallen in love with my countess"

"Is that more important than the fact that you were caught planting bombs around town?"

"bombs? What bombs are you talking about, I am too good to do something that simple and so lazy"

He said with a grin

"But I will tell you this, I was not the one who got my kittens out of jail"

"You expect me to believe that this is your plan from the beginning wasn't it?"

"I really wish it was that simple and easy my dear boy Michael, but that would ruin the fun"

"So you have help on the outside, don't you?"

"I wouldn't say that you're rested all the kittens that I have. Sure I was the one that sent them on the mission to get the diamond, but I had no idea that they were going to be all captured"

"Where is tsume?"

"missing the feline cat already Detective?"

"What orders did you give her?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about, there will be no way for me to get in contact with her"

"You're lying"

" say what you like but I am telling you the truth, I am not the one giving her orders. she is following her own orders...I will admit she's not the easiest out of the bundle to tame, she does what she wants when she feels like it, now all you have to do is wait until the little kitten returns home"

He said as Michael left the room and back to his car, he started driving in search for tsume.

Tsume POV)

Tsume was running along rooftop trying to find her team but couldn't find them an anywhere until her search was cut off when she heard an explosion. tsume saw that it came from Town square making her go there quickly as she saw that it was on fire she saw the police trying to keep people away from the fire as the fireman that was trying to put out the fire

she scanned the crowd and saw the mysterious person in a black cloak walking away from the scene. Tsume decided to follow this person just in case and ended up losing him and returned to the apartment to tell Michael but when she returned she didn't find him anywhere

so she decided to give him a call hoping he took his cell phone with him, until the door to the apartment bust it open as she saw Michael breathing heavily

"Michael?"

"Where have you, Ben ?"

He asked him grabbing tsume by her shoulder rather tightly

"I was out... I needed some fresh air"

"Then why did you knock me out"

"Because I couldn't have you interfere with my investigation"

"What investigation?"

"I can't tell you this is my case"

"Is it also the case where you break your boss out of jail along with your friends?"

"what? Why would I do that when clearly you know that they don't trust me anymore?"

" Then tell me the truth tsume "

"I am telling you the truth I just couldn't have you interfere with my investigation "

"I want the truth from you if you don't tell me right now I'm going to have to take action "

"You don't trust me? '

"I do but how can we keep this relationship if you're knocking me out in lying to me? "

tsume apologize to Michael not saying anything as he took his handcuffs and cuffed her

"What are you doing?! "

"Exactly what you think I'm doing, I'm sorry but I can't have you running off by yourself "

"I'm old enough to take care of myself and I don't need you to be in this mess "

"If you tell me the truth I'll let you go "

"And let you get hurt I don't think so "

"Fine I guess we'll just play it the hard way "

A minute later she was in the cell behind Bars

"I'm sorry but you made me do this now stay put until this Fiasco has come down "

Michael said and walked away leaving tsume alone
