Chapter 1: My Broken Heart

Kurt was standing outside the hotel door. It felt like his feet was rooted there, he can't move. His heart was hammering so hard inside his chest it was almost painful. He took a very deep breath and with all his courage finally knocked on the door.

"Yeah! Coming!" he heard a female voice answered.

That moment he felt like his insides bolted in a knot. He don't know what he was feeling at that moment, he had never really felt that way.

When the knob turned, it was like bright lights filled the room and he had to squint his eyes so he could see.

Standing on the side of the door is a pale skinned, tall woman with a very nice smile on her lips. She was so beautiful, all he could do was gawk.

"Hi?" he said shakily. The woman smiled even wider and before he knew it, she jumped and hugged him to his surprise.

"Nice to meet you, BB Oppa."

6 months after

"Hima... Hima!?" She got surprised to hear her name being called. On instinct she raised her head and looked at the pair of eyes staring intently at her.

Marie snatched her phone.

"BB again!? You've been spacing out for awhile now," she told her.

She snatched her phone back and stared back at the picture shown on the screen.

It showed a picture of BB or Kurt Jung, a famous DJ and songwriter in Korea. He is also a member of Team H together with his friend, famous Halyu star, Jang Keun Suk.

In his SNS account, he was currently having a nice picnic in the park with his two dogs, LB and Dhabi, and his girlfriend, Kim. Yes, that is right, he already has a girlfriend.

A few months ago, he had officially announced that he was dating Chinese model, Kim. Based on rumors they have known each other for a long time and BB Oppa has always liked her. So he finally decided to surprise her, he followed her in Hongkong and that is how they became an official couple.

But at the same time, the day BB Oppa found the other half of his heart, is the day she broke hers. It was so hard for Hima. She know that she can only love him from afar but sometimes when you really love someone, you can't help but just get hurt.

"Hey!" Marie snapped her fingers infront of her. "I have been talking here non stop, were you even listening?" she sounded mad already.

"What's your problem? I don't have the energy to fight with you," she told her and lay on her bed once again.

"How many times do I have to tell you to stop looking at BB's account... now look at you," she sneered. She was keeping her eyes from rolling.

She decided it wasn't worth to fight with her so she grabbed the sheet and covered her head but not fully when Marie grabbed the edge and threw it out of bed.

"What's your problem?"

"You are my problem. Have you forgotten we have to meet Soph today, you haven't forgotten right?"

"I don't want to go. I'd rather climb a mountain."

"What? Climb a mountain? Don't tell me you want to go to Baguio again? You frequent there you can almost live there."

"Don't worry, I am saving to buy myself a house there," she told her.

"You're crazy. Anyway, before you even think about that, please get up now and let's go."

Hima couldn't do anything when Marie pushed her out of her bed and dragged her out of her room. There are actually two things she wanted to do at that moment, one is to sleep all day and the second is to go to Baguio and feel the cold weather there. She don't know why but everytime she is sad, going to Baguio comforts her. Some say that it's the place where broken hearts go. Maybe that's true.

By the way, she is Hima or Himawari Aguiloz, a full time romance novel writer. Though she had no experience in love, she took some inspiration in all her love stories from all the books and novels she had read, from her friends' experiences, and she gets inspiration too from her favorite Korean stars, most especially from BB Oppa.

"Hey Soph. Sorry were late," said Marie announcing there arrival.

Sophia and Marie are her friends who like her are writers too. Marie is her college friend and she was the one who influenced her to become a full time writer while Sophia become their friend when they met in one book signing event.

Sophia raised her head and looked at them with boredom. "Yeah... You should know I almost grew some roots here."

"Sorry. You know our friend here is a slowpoke..." Marie said looking sideways at her.

"Oohh... what happened to your face? It looked like heaven and earth has fallen."

"You bet," seconded Marie.

Sophia and Marie are her friends but often times she just felt being bullied by the two.

"Ha ha..." she laughed sarcastically at them. "What are you doing? Is that a new story?" she inquired.

"Yeah it is. Very new... Its about a girl who always have a pouting sad face and always late in meetings and get together. She lost her love because of her laziness and tardiness too..." narrated Sophia while eyeing her mischievously.

Marie laughed.

"Yeah right... funny," she said rolling her eyes.

"By the way, congrats on your new novel. Perfect sales,"she grinned and gave her a thumbs up. "I can't believe you can still write beautiful novels even with the current condition of your heart," she teased.

"Ofcourse," she said. "My broken heart is my inspiration."

"Winner!" Sophia. "Vote Hima for the next president. Yey!" The two girls laughed and exchanged high fives. They continuously teased Hima but she doesn't mind at all. "So what are your plans now?" she asked.

"I'm going to make a trilogy," she said smiling at her friends.

"Trilogy? I didn't know about that," said Marie. "So? What's the concept?"

"I don't know yet. I decided I'll have a vacation first to think things over,"

"Vacation!?" both Sophia and Marie looked surprised with what she said.

After a while, Marie was the first to overcome her shock. "So, where are you going?"

Smiled widely and looked at them. "Korea. I am going to Korea," she said.
