Alya's POV: We stumbled out of the train and a couple of people gave us odd looks. It was most likely because we all had some form of shock still in us like jelly legs and pale faces.
We shuffled up the stairs and waited for Mari to stagger up after us. "I... don't....know...what.....happened" she panted. "He seems....heavier for some...reason." Strange. He did look a little bigger. Like he grew an inch during the climb.
I really couldn't help her much, I mean I offered but she refused saying that taking care of him was her job. Not that I wouldn't agree because it's about time that something happened between them.
We hiked up the final bits of stairs and I immediately felt fresh warm sunlight hit my face. Ahh. That was exactly what I needed. We grabbed a five-minute bus to the nearest mall and I felt a little more reassured than what I felt at the metro.
Marinette's POV: Ok, so Adrien turning into a kid isn't the strangest thing I have experienced, it was the change that happened during the stair climb. I felt the weirdest tingly sensation go through my whole body then vibrate off Adrien's.
Suddenly he felt a little heavier to me and he looked a bit bigger too. It was so weird. Then again, I did have a rough morning so it was most likely the fact that I'm hallucinating because I am still in shock.
Still, I have to take care of him because this is my one change of ever being comfortable around him without messing up my words. Of course that has to be when he's a toddler. Where's my ladybug luck when I need it?
Nino's POV: DUDE, This is freaky! OK, so I'm 99% sure that Alya didn't notice this but Adrien looked bigger. Like bigger than before. What the heck?
I don't even know if I can face reality anymore. It's probably a hallucination which means this whole thing is messing with my mind. Dude, I don't even know where to get with the program. This just keeps getting weirder and weirder.
Alya's POV: The bus screeched to a halt and we all got off silently. Correction: not got off silently because we were quiet the WHOLE RIDE.
I could tell Mari and Nino were formulating thoughts in their heads and doing some deep thinking for once. (Don't tell them I said that but they're both kinda air-headed).
We entered the mall quietly and gawked over a large mall directory. We ended up finding a toddler clothing store and soon started doing what two girls and a guy (Oh and a baby) would do in the mall.
The girls window shopping and trying to check out each store with the guy lagging behind, listening to music, and carrying the bags.
I honestly did feel kinda bad for Nino. Keyword: Kinda. Oh and let's not forget the baby sitting on Marinette's tired shoulders, waving to people, and yelling for ice cream. And here I thought Adrien was a KIND and POLITE child.
Sure enough, my mind started playing tricks on me again. We were looking at a dress inspired by Ladybug in the window and once again, Adrien suddenly looked a lot bigger.
He seemed about three inches bigger than what we saw him at the train station. Weirder than that, Marinette seemed a little smaller too. Maybe because she was tired of carrying him.
ALRIGHT enough's enough. "Girl, I need to carry him at one point too. You're gonna work yourself to the bone." I stated. This time she didn't argue and just handed him over. She stood up a little straighter than before but she still looked kinda short. Weird.
Marinette's POV: Ok, so the tingly sensation happened twice now and Adrien did look a bit bigger. Not like that tiny 3 year old he was before but like a kindergartner.
I glanced at my reflection in a store window to fix my hair (Which Adrien pulled on) and I looked a bit smaller but that was because of maybe sagging under his weight.
Alya was looking at me suspiciously so it something is probably wrong. I need to hide and talk to Tikki, but I gotta find a way to escape from Alya. But how? Ok so the solution came to me when she offered to take Adrien. Great. I ran to the bathroom and pulled open the latch to my bag....
