Just a heads up: we are diving into Civil War

~~~~~~~~ 3 MONTHS LATER ~~~~~~~~~~
'Had to have high, high hopes for a living! Shooting for the stars when I couldn't make a killing! Didn't have a dime but I always had a vision! Always had high, high hopes!
Had to have high, high hopes for a living! Didn't know how but I always had a feeling!
I was gonna be that one in a million! Always had high, high hopes!'
Panic! At The Disco rang through the training room. I was singing along, using my sleep inducement. Of course there wasn't anyone nearby to hear, but I was still using it, making sure that I knew how to turn sleep inducement on and off. Using my powers wasn't as bad as I imagined. But I was still bitter about it. Wanda still keeps trying to change how I see it. I am grateful she still hasn't given up on that.
Speaking of Wanda, she is on a mission in Lagos along with Steve, Sam, and Natasha. Tony is giving a guest lecture at his MIT, were he is demonstrating is latest invention, the B.A.R.F.
Vision and Rhodey are somewhere in the facility doing god knows what. At least with Rhodey. Vision is probably going through walls. Another half hour passes when Friday informs me that Steve, Sam, Nat, and my sister are back. A grin breaks out on my face as I bolt to the entrance. I halt in my tracks when I see their expressions. They had their eyes on the floor, refusing to meet mine. I stood in front of them waiting for someone to say something. No one did. I sighed.
"Are you guys going to keep staring at the floor or are you going to look at me and tell me what happened?"
They slowly told me what happened. I gasped. The plan was to find Brock Rumlow, also known as Crossbones, stop him from stealing a biological weapon, and take him into custody. Everything kinda went according to plan. They found Crossbones and secured the biological weapon, which he had managed to get. However when Cap and Rumlow fought, Rumlow activated a suicide bomb attached to his vest. Wanda contained the explosion around Rumlow and attempted to move him into the air, but moved it too close to a nearby building, destroying the south side of the building.
It didn't take a genius to know that Wanda was filled with guilt. I stayed with her throughout the next month even when she said she was fine. I knew she was lying.
I am currently in my room, watching the team listen to Ross's announcement. Since I'm not an Avenger I'm not allowed in the conference. Not that I want to be I just want to know what goes on.
"Five years ago I had a heart attack I dropped right in the middle of my back swing. Turned out it was the best round of my life because after 13 hours of surgery and a triple bypass I found something 40 years in the army never taught me: perspective. The world owes the Avengers an unpayable debt. You have fought for us, protected us, risked your lives, but while a great many people see you as heroes, there are some who would prefer 'vigilantes'. "
"And what word would you use Mr.Secretary?" Natasha asked calmly.
"How bout 'dangerous'?" Mr.Secretary answered before continuing. "What would you call a group of US-based, enhanced individuals who routinely ignore sovereign borders and inflict their will wherever they choose? And who, frankly, seem unconcerned about what they leave behind?"
Mr.Secretary stood to the side and on the screen was a map with yellow dots on it.
"New York." A video was played of the Battle of New York. All it showed was destruction. All I could hear is people crying and screaming. He did the same with Washington DC to which I looked away. I perked up when he said Sokovia. My birth place. I watched the Battle of Sokovia. The battle in which my brother, Pietro, died. Even though I never knew him I still felt a sting in my chest.
