Frank's POV:
It was today. The day that I would become Frank Iero-Way. It was the wedding that I've been looking forward to for years. I had run the scenario over and over in my head since we first started dating and even after we broke up for a while, I still clung to that idea because it seemed so out of touch but so close at the same time and it was mesmerizing. I was like a giddy school girl when he asked me to marry him but of course I said yes, I loved him. We decided, after a lot of arguing, we finally decided on the perfect venue. A beautiful outdoor wedding beneath what felt like a million trees.
My eyes are trained on the ground as the orchestra plays the traditional tune. I see the grass under my shoes and the petals as I'm walking forward. My mom is the only thing holding me up as I walk toward Gerard. My dad didn't want to be a part of this so my mom took his place. I look up to see Gerard playing with his fingers. He looks up at me and a smile creeps up on my face. I'm now facing Gerard and he grabs my hands. His are as sweaty as mine, if not more. The minister begins reading and I feel a wave of heat pass over me. I'm close to passing out. Gerard places a ring on my finger and I place one on his. I barely hear the words spoken but I know to reply 'I do'. Gerard does the same and when his hand is on my cheek, I feel grounded. I don't feel as nauseous as I did the entirety of last night and this morning. He places his soft lips on mine and we kiss. There's cheering and Gerard wraps his arm around me which steadies me as we walk down the aisle together. I'm glad I've chosen him to be my rock forever because I definitely love leaning against his body. He makes me happy and I'm glad we'll be spending our lives together.
