Together (Na Jaemin X Reader)

1. The bus

Looking around while the teachers were naming the students, you noticed Y/F outside of the bus knocking in the window. The driver opened the door rolling his eyes. It wasn't your first trip she was late and your driver was always happy to see her.

"I'm so sorry" she apologized quickly before sitting next to you.

"Where were you?" you asked looking forward to her lame excuse.

"Hyuck and I were texting on my way and I drift away only realized at the end I was lost" she said mentionning her boyfriend.

"Donghyuck wasn't texting anyone" you pointed the boy at the back who was arguing with his friends about anything. "Just admit you woke up late"

As she was about to answer, the bus started moving. You were going in a majestic hotel (from what the teachers told you) and it was apparently a huge opportunity for your class to go. When you had to pair for the places in the bus, you were left alone, as usual. Everyone took this opportunity to be with their lover while you were left behind having no one to be paired with.

No one but Na Jaemin. He wasn't someone you appreciated a lot and the feeling was mutual. He was left alone as well but he had no choice other than asking you to sit with him. Just before you could answer "yes" cause you couldn't refuse, Y/F arrived at the right moment saying you were already with her. She later told her boyfriend to sit with Jaemin.

Back in the bus, you looked in your surroundings seeing all of your friends cuddling with the popular boys. Somehow, all of your friends ended up with one of the cool boys. Your best friend was disgustingly making out with Mark Lee. Y/F noticed your look and interrupted your judging thoughts.

"You'll be like this too when you'll have someone in your life"

"Who? Na Jaemin? He's the only one available and from what I've heard, he hates me"

"He doesn't! He has some issues with showing his feelings"

"What feelings?"

"Y/N, you're being too harsh on him. Maybe that's the reason why he doesn't like you much"

"I'm not harsh. He's the one ignoring me. We were good friends but when everyone started dating, he suddenly became really cold towards me" you sighed.

You went back looking around only to notice your best friend guy, Jeno, being really suggestive with his girlfriend. Her being a little too close to him as he was devoring her face. The best was that their seats were right next to yours.

"Yah, Jeno!" you called.

He stopped kissing his girlfriend who seemed annoyed and looked towards you. His lips were swollen and it looked like he was sweating.

"Yes, Y/N?" he replied clearly bothered you interrupted their moment.

"This is a school bus where everyone can see you so I would suggest the both of you to wait until we get to the hotel, thank you very much"

"You're just jealous of being single. Just go to Jaemin already" he whispered teasing you.

The thing was only your two best friends knew you were actually falling for the boy who ignores you. Jeno, who happened to be his best friend, assured you one day he returns the same feelings but knowing Jeno, he was only trying to cheer you up. He would also tease you a lot about it, hinting in public about your crush.

"Shut up already! I'm really fine alone. I don't understand the fun of being so touchy with someone" you told back.

"Whatever" he said before going back to his kissing session.

You grunted before putting your earpods and increasing the volume of your music. You looked towards Y/F and noticed how she was struggling to keep her laugh. You rolled your eyes before shutting them. This would be a long ass ride.
