7. The Party

"You coming?" my best friend asked as I was laying on the bed peacefully.

"Where?" you managed to mumble.

"God! Where were you fifteen minutes ago? The boys invited us to a party in their room?" Y/F said.

"A party? In a small hotel room?" I frowned.

"Well, three connected rooms" she informed.

"Nah, I'm gonna stay here" you declined putting the blanket over your head.

"Oh, come on Y/N! You can't even have fun during a trip?" Y/O/F whined.

You groaned before getting up and prepared. The girls seemed a little too excited and kept mentioning how fun it'll be, especially for you. What does it even mean?

We went out of our room and knock to the door next to ours. Jeno answered smiling at us. With the glimpse of the inside I could see, I notice not only the 7 best friends were there but many unknown persons as well. Jeno let you in offering you drinks but you refused as you were the 'responsible one'. You soon found Taeyong and he noticed you too so you went to him.

"Hey, drunk boy" you teased.

"Hey lost girl" he teased back. "For a party of high schoolers, the ambiance is pretty nice. Your friends seem nice"

"Yes, they are. What are you doing here by the way?" you asked.

"Jeno is actually my cousin" he chuckled. "We don't see each other often so he invited me and some of my friends"

"Oh, your friends are here as well?"

"Yeah, 13 of them" he informed and your eyes widened.

"That's a lot of people!"

"Not that much" he shrugged before taking another sip of his drink.

After some time of talking with Taeyong, Donghyuck suggested to play truth or dare. You always thought it was a stupid game but your best friend being your best friend, she forced you to play. Many had their turns. Most of the dares were about drinking.

"Y/N!" Yuta, Taeyong's friend, yelled after kissing a random girl you didn't know.

"Hmm.. dare" you replied.

"I dare you to kiss Taetae~" he cooed.

Your eyes fell onto the person who you had to kiss. He gave you an apologetic look but you shrugged. You moved closer to him before giving him a quick peck.

"I said KISS, not barely touching his lips" Yuta complaint.

Taeyong grabbed the back of your head, giving you a look saying if you're okay. You nodded and he leaned in to kiss you. It would be lying if you say Taeyong is a back kisser. In fact, he was an extremely good kisser. The kiss soon got into a makeout session.

"Okay, let go lovebirds!" your friend laughed.

You looked around and then saw Jaemin, he was looking away and his face wasn't really happy.

"Na" you said making him turning his attention to you.

"Truth" he coldly said.

"Why do you hate me?" you asked and the room went silent waiting for Jaemin to answer.

"I--" he started and sighed before leaving the room.

Everyone started to question about why he left. You interrupted by naming someone else before leaving to follow Jaemin. You went out in the hallways searching for him. You searched for a long time before giving up and walking to the yard outside. You were more than surprised to find Jaemin leaning to a fence looking at the night sky.

"It's pretty tonight" you said.

"Don't try to make the scenario of the girl who catches the boy and tell him how pretty the night is to be start up a conversation" he said harshly not moving his head.

"Okay then. Sorry for trying to be polite. You're never happy with whatever I do anyway. And you still didn't answer the question"

"I can't answer it"

"Why not?"

"Because I don't hate you"
