Together (Na Jaemin X Reader)

10. "First date"

Once you got to the mall, you all decided to go eat together. Since Jaemin already suggested to together just the two of you, you had to make up an excuse for the others.

"I'm not hungry" Jaemin lied.

"I wanted to go shop for a little while" you said.

They looked at you weirdly before letting you go. You went different ways so they won't suspect anything. You met each other later at a ice cream shop. Jaemin treated you and you walked around the mall.

"We definitely should tell them" Jaemin suddenly said.

"Yeah, it's getting confusing for them" you replied.

"Let's just enjoy our time together right now, we'll take care of that later" he suggested swinging his arm arond your shoulders.

You agreed as you kept walking together.

Jeno's POV

I was eating with the dreamies and their girlfriends but I wasn't listening. Jaemin was being really suspicious today and I had to know what was happening to my best friend. I excused myself to go to the washroom and gave my girlfriend some money so she could pay for my lunch with it. I went out of the restaurant and wandered around the mall. I soon found Jaemin's familiar hair. He was walking around with... Y/N. I knew something was happening between the two of them. I followed them closely trying to listen to their conversation. Unfortunately, they were almost whispering to each other. I kep following them until Jaemin put his arm around Y/N. My eyes widened in confusing and I ran to get in front of them.

"Care to explain? We were waiting for you but you took so much time that we already started to eat" I said as Jaemin removed his arm, embarrassed.

"We were about to tell you" Y/N finally said.

"Yeah, but we just wanted to be sure we wanted... that" Jaemin continued as he took Y/N's hand.

"Yeah, whatever. I knew it would happen anyway. Just don't run away again, we were actually starving earlier" I laughed and we walked back to our friends.

"Jeno?" Y/N said. "Please, be quiet about this. We still want to keep it low"

"Sure, no problem!" I smiled.

Normal POV

"He won't be quiet, right?" you whispered in Jaemin's ear.

"Clearly not" he chuckled. "Hey, if we get some time later, it would be nice to actually go on a date together without having him interrupting"

"Yes, it would be great"

As you were getting closer to the group, Jeno ran to them and yelled about your relationship. You were surely embarrassed but you joined them.

"Awe, my ship is real" Y/F cooed.

"Shut up" I pushed her shoulder.

Jaemin's friends were congratulating him making him as shy as you were. You all gathered to the meeting place and your best friend took you apart from the rest of your friends to talk.

"Were you planning on telling me?" she pouted.

"When we would have been back but Jeno caught us so, here we are" you responded.

"It's fine, I'm happy for you, but be careful. I know that you both used to hate each other and I wouldn't like you to be heartbroken"

"I won't" you swore.

"Oh, by the way, while you were with Jaemin this morning, Taeyong came to our room and asked to talk with you"

"Oh, what did you tell him?"

"You'll have to meet him at 7 toninght" she said and you widened your eyes.

"It's in 15 minutes!"

"Well, it's not like I knew we would stay here for that long!"

You sighed as you walked back to the meeting place. As you arrived, you found no one near.

"Great, don't tell me we missed the bus!"

"I think we did" Y/B/F said while pointing at the window where you could see your bus driving away.
