(Zack's POV)
Rian said yes! I finally surprised him tonight at dinner with the proposal. I knew he would say yes but still, I'm in shock. I am marrying him and its gonna dawn on me every time I see him.
"I'm still in shock that I'm marrying you." I state as I look at him.
He admires his ring. "Yes, I'm in shock by that too. I'm marrying Zachary Merrick."
I laugh and kiss him. "I love you."
"I love you too. I can't wait for you to become my husband." He says kissing me back.
I pull him into my lap. "I can't wait either." I state.
"Awe you two are adorable and it needs to stop." Jack says as he walks into the room. "Oh and congrats by the way."
"Congrats on what?" Rian asks hiding the ring.
"On the engagement, I'm not stupid. Plus, I kind of overheard that conversation." Jack asks.
I hug Jack. "Thanks. Don't tell Alex yet though." I beg.
"I won't." Jack promises.
Rian thanks him. "Thanks. Now let us enjoy being together."
Jack nods before leaving the room. I look back at my now fiancé. "Well I love you and I'm excited for this journey to begin."
He laughs. "I'm excited too. Its one of the best things I have in my life. I love you more than anything." He states.
"I love you too. I know that its amazing to do this." I say as he gets off my lap.
He smirks. "I am too. Let's celebrate our engagement in the best way."
"Which is what?" I ask.
He nods and smirks. "I think you know." he gives me that look of lust that I know too well.
(Pete's POV)
Patrick has been songwriting like crazy. We released MANIA last year but that doesn't mean that Patrick is done working hard. He is still pulling out songs like its nothing.
"Patrick, babe, please take a break." I beg him.
He sighs and puts his pen and journal down. "Alright I think one too."
I hug his waist. "You've been almost nonstop since we got back yesterday."
He nods. "I know, I've just been inspired lately. And you know that once I get inspired its hard for me to stop."
"I know. I've been watching you right now but its great." I say.
He kisses my cheek. "I'm aware of that. I know that I need to take it easy."
I nod. "Yes, you do. You're my everything." I state. "The band is relaxing for a bit. We spent three years on Mania, its time to take a little bit of time for ourselves." I explain. I love being here with my husband. Joe, Andy, Patrick, and I agreed to take a few months off to focus on ourselves. Which we all need.
He giggles that giggle that is one of the many things I love about him. "I know. I just need to write while I remember it too."
"As a fellow songwriter myself, I understand that. Take your time and don't rush it." I tell him. I've watched him go through hell and back. I supported him the whole time through it. His confidence has grown and keeps growing. Its amazing to watch. "I love you." I kiss him deeply before leaning into him. He's the love of my life and I'm glad we're married.
(Jack's POV)
I'm happy for Zack and Rian they deserve each other. I'm glad that they're happy as a couple. It does make me slightly jealous because I want to marry Alex more than anything. I know we've only been dating for a few months but that's what I want. I have a feeling it's what we both want.
"Whats on your mind?" Alex asks me as we sit on our bed. Yes, we share a bed now.
"I love you." I state as I cuddle into his side.
He grins. "I love you too. I've been wanting to say those three words for a while. I just wanted you to say them first."
I pull away from him to kiss him on those soft gorgeous lips of his. I love him and for me to finally tell him means everything. I know that our lives together we'll continue to grow as people, musicians, and as a couple. I pull away to catch my breath. "Damn that was great." I state.
"Great is an understatement. That was magical and epic." He states with a wide grin.
I smirk. "Yes, it was. I feel like a weight has been taken off my shoulders." I state. "I love you." I say again.
"I love you too. Zack and Rian has something they want to tell us at dinner tonight." He says.
I already know what it is but I made a promise not to tell Alex so I won't. "Well then we better get going." I say getting up off the bed.
He laughs as he gets off the bed. "I guess so. Jack Barakat, you are the love of my life." He says as we head out of the bedroom to go to the car.
