Alone
Don't tell me I'm not alone.
Because at 3:30 AM on Friday morning, when I'm smothered in my own darkness, with heavy thoughts and the "what if's", clutching my tiered stained pillow, I sit up and look around the room to see that the only person here... Is me. The person who understands, who really understands is me. The only person who hears me choke up a sob is me.
So don't tell me that I'm not alone, because I am; right here, right now.
You're not the one being swallowed by sadness, barely able to breathe.
It's me, and I am so alone.
