#3 Tough Decision

You and Ed came to the room as Al notices your eyes on tears and Ed having a scratch on his arm while he lays in his acclaimed bed covering himself up. You walk by Alphonse. "Al, you should go sleep on the bed" -you say as he denies it respectfully as always."I am unable to sleep in this condition, you should take it". He says as you nod and smile "Goodnight" -you say kissing his cold armored head. You lay in bed facing toward Ed as the lights are turned off. You look at him laying there awake as he gazes back at you, then you decide to turn away and eventually end up falling asleep. Soon after Ed sits up signaling Al, as the two brothers walk outside the room "She is able to perform Alchemy!" Ed states as Al is surprised "Makes sense... She was sent to the Truth Gate, so in order to gain Alchemy se gave up part of her heart. I am just not sure what she did in order to end up there. It doesn't seem like she was the one who performed the alchemy, rather she was the brains." Al whispers as Ed agrees "Either way, since she can perform alchemy we should send her to Xerxes, this way through the transmutation circle already engraved there and  Alchemy there has to be a way to get her to open the gate once more and try to go back. Plus, it is far from civilization so no one will know this ever happened... I don't want to risk everyone, because of her." Ed whispers as Al nods. "Either way, we cannot let her stay here... She is not where she belongs"

You find yourself in front of Ed and Al as the two of them are holding hands with kids that look like their younger self. You approach them as your voice was not heard. Eventually you see the two little boys disappear as Ed falls to your arm while his automail is crumbled in pieces, and Al crumbles away entirely. You yell for Ed to wake up while holding him tight in your arms, but your voice was mute. You cry as his body lingers near you. Suddenly a shadow appear, a tall blonde rather old man wearing a white gown looking clothing. He sits next to you while you are confused. He reaches for your chest grabbing your heart out of your body as the metal pieces crash in his hand. "Stay out of matters that do not belong to you" he whispers to you squeezing your heart.

You get up terrified in the middle of the night screaming as the boys get up panicking by your screaming. You stand up and storm out of the room running toward the fountain crying your eyes out, gasping for air. Ed and Al try to catch up to you, but in a split second you find yourself trapped by Envy as he had grabbed you by your hand. Ed and Al catch up to you, seeing Envy forcefully holding you as the two boys are set on fight mode. 

"Envy!! Let her go" -Ed yells furiously as he uses alchemy to transform his automail to a fighting sword. Envy laughs out loud and transforms his hand into a knife looking one, and with tremendous speed he pierces through your stomach as you, Ed and Al are caught off guard as you bleed from your mouth. "(Y/N)" Al yells as Ed barges toward Envy and attacks him. Meanwhile, Al runs toward you grabbing you as you end up bleeding all over him. 

Ed and Envy keep on fighting as Envy is mostly messing around being his condescending self making Ed furious. While Ed and Envy keep on fighting, from a distance a snap is heard and endless flames rush and burn Envy's eyes out. Ed backs away seeing Roy and Riza approaching the scene while Envy regenerates himself fast. "Why you piece of..." Envy yells furious as Roy snaps his fingers again burning him completely.  Not wanting to engage so many alchemists Envy makes a run for it while Ed tries to follow him only being stopped by Roy  calling his name out. Ed looks over at you as you are bleeding rapidly. "Get her to the hospital right now, Fullmetal" Roy states as him and Riza get into a car "Fullmetal, keep it under wraps and report to me in the morning." Roy adds as Ed nods and the two brothers rush you to the hospital.

It is morning after the accident, you wake up feeling your stomach hurting a little, noticing the bandage you had been wrapped on. Al is sitting on the couch looking down as you smile and call his name. He immediately gets up happy and rushes toward you giving a huge hug.  "I am glad you are okay (Y/N) " he states happily as you gently smile nodding.  "Thank you, I am sorry I put you guys in trouble..." - you whisper quietly and lower your head while Al pats your head.  "No need for apologies. It was not your fault... This just gives us a reason more to try to do anything to get you back." Al says as you nod and touch your stomach. "The doctor said that no vital organs were harmed, so you should be fine in a couple days." Al adds while you try to get up, groaning in pain as Al tries to help you out. "Al.. Where is Ed?...Is he... is he?" you turn at him with a concerned look in your face. "Oh no, Ed is okay. He is at Colonel's Mustang office. Coming up with a plan how to help you out and keep you safe." Al adds as you sigh in relief and open the window of your hospital room, hearing the sound of birds chirping. "Al... how am I able to perform Alchemy??" you ask, but before Al could give you an answer,  Ed comes in. You turn and see him all alright and rush toward him hugging him tight, even though you were in tremendous pain.  "Ed!! I am so glad you're okay." you cry out making  Ed blush a little as he grabs you by your arm.  "I am sorry I put you through so much trouble" you break the hug looking down, wiping your tears as Ed gently smiles.  "No worries"

His face takes a serious look all of the sudden "We have to take you to Xerxes as soon as possible, there is a way to get you home, I do not know exactly yet how to do so without commiting a taboo, but we have to try. " Ed says while keeping the fact that you would open the gate with a stone to himself, to not worry anyone, as the atmosphere is filled with the sound of the outside while you and Al are confused, but agree to it. You sit on the bed looking outside mellowing down "I have been here for a couple of days and I have been stabbed a lot. Please take me home you guys, I want to go back " you say as Ed's eyes widen with surprise. He walks and sits next to you. He is about to place his hand on yours, but stops halfway retrieving it. "We promise we will find a way for you to go back to your family." Ed says as he looks at you gazing at the sky.
