Chapter 12: Watch out for Brain Freeze!

Aavri’s POV

“WHHAAATT???!! You swam in Rin’s pool just because Grimore got sick??!!” Rei shouted. “If he knew that you addressed him so impolitely, you’ll be in big trouble!” I said. “I won’t tell anyone, though”

“But… why would he do such a thing?!” the megane character asked. “Well, it’s because of LOVE!! Plus, since Grim-chan got sick, we had a chance to swim again!” I yelled in delight.

Actually, we’re inside my room. Just talking. We have nothing to do, anyways. Oh, and if you're wondering where the rest of the gang went, they have diff. things to do. Aaaand.. since I don’t know when will the three months be over, I’ll do everything that I can think of for my doggeh!

“Man, I’m so bored!” I said. “Hey! Hey! Wanna go to the main street and walk around?” I suggested. He adjusted his glasses upwards.  His way of adjusting his glasses is sexy…. *O* WAIT, WHAT AM I SAYING??!!!

“Sure, but what will we do there?” he asked. “It’s a secret!! I’m gonna tell you later, okie?. NOW, LET’S GOOOO!!!” I grabbed his wrists and dashed to the main street.

*5 minutes later

“WE’RE HERE!” I said. “Okay, Baka-chan! As your master, I order you to treat me a meal in a restaurant!” “What? No way!” the arrogant idiot refused. “Heh. What kind of a dog are you? You’re defying your master.” I smirked. He got an irk mark but agreed. Muahahahaha!!

“So, where shall we go?” he asked. “A café?” I told him. “NO. That’s too far! How about the ice cream shop?” he suggested. “Huh? Doesn’t it have the same distance with the café?” I said. “Techinically, no. The distance of the café is 3.43km whilst the ice cream shop is just 2.8km. Hmm.. but now that you mentioned it, it does have the same distance. Because when you round off 3.43 and 2.8, the answer would both be 3, so-“ I cut him off. “Who cares about that? Whatever, I’m in the mood to eat ice cream. So, LET’S GOOOO!!’”

We went inside the ice cream parlor. The waitress gave us the menu. But… only one thing got my attention: “NEW SUPER JUMBO SUNDAE” The moment I saw the picture, my eyes were shining. But when I saw the price, I was disappointed. I glanced at Rei. “Ne, ne, Ryugazki-sama. You have lots of money, right?” “You want the jumbo sundae, don’t you?” he sighed. “YES!” I said, my eyes are still shining. He sighed once more. “Alright. Just this time, okay?” he gave me serious look. I grinned. “Okay! Thank you!”

After a few minutes…

“Sorry for the wait, ma’am and sir.” The waitress said. I stared at the enormous sundae. HUWAW!! DELICIOUS!!!! I ate the ice cream non-stop, not worrying about the brain freeze.

After we ate and paid (well actually, HE paid.), we walked back to the inn. "Ugghh... my head hurts." I muttered. "That's what you get for eating too much ice cream....... and I have a bad feeling about this." he mumbled the last part but I managed to hear it.

Rei’s POV

*The next day

“Achoo!” Aavri sneezed. Then, she coughed. “You’ve been sneezing and coughing for quite a while. Are you sure, you’re okay?”I asked and she nodded. “It’s been 10 minutes since I’m here, and all you do is nod or shake your head! What’s wrong with you?” I asked. She shook her head.
