Rei’s POV

I sighed. It’s been a week since I haven’t guard the palace. I’m surprised that it’s okay with the Emperor since he already knew what’s going on. But, in return, I must find a guard as my substitute. And I found one. In fact, I think he’s a better guard. But, of course, I’m more fabulous! No one can beat my “fabulousness”, not even that peasant dancer! (Peasant dancer: Aavri)

Speaking of peasant dancer, when I entered the lobby of Splash Inn, I saw Aavri sitting in the chair with a “gloomy aura”. And she’s alone. “Oi, peasant dancer, why are you alone? And why so gloomy?” I said.

“Shut up, Baka-chan!” she said as she glares at me.  Geez, her glare can kill someone. “Like I was saying, why so gloomy?” I asked again. She opened her mouth to say something but before she can say it, she closed her mouth and wrapped her body and knees together using her arms. (A/N: LOL. That sounded weird.)

I noticed that her “gloomy aura” got worse. For Pete’s sake, what is wrong with this idiot? But a few seconds later, she went back to her old self as if nothing happened.  She remained silent as she stood up and dashed upstairs.

A few seconds later, she went back in the lobby again. ._______. Weird girl.

“Oi, Baka-chan. Help me find my wooden staff.” She said.  “Wooden Staff?” I asked. “Yeah. It’s around 85 to 90 centimeters. I lost it when we were buying some accessories the other day.” She said.

Oh yeah, I remember. Few days before, we went to a  “playing-musical-instruments-contest event” (we just watched). When  we were walking in the street, not to mention, a narrow street, during nighttime, some delinquents planned something fishy to Aavri but she get her wooden staff from who-knows-where and knocked them out. Then before I knew it, her staff disappeared as if it’s some kind of magic.

Back to reality.

“Are you carrying it everyday?”  I asked. “No, not really. I’m only carrying it when I get the feeling that I will fight someone.” She said. I sweatdropped. “Anyway, help me find it. I get the feeling that I will fight someone sooner or later.” Is she some kind of fortune teller or what? I know that one of her friend is a fortune teller, but I still think that her fortunes are not really accurate.

She sighed. “Hey, do you want some water?” she whispered so that no one can hear it other than me. Oh yeah, I forgot that she have 10 gallons of water. Her other friends got water too. =____= Curse you, Grimore.

But luckily, Nagisa, Makoto, Aavri are sharing VERY FEW water to me. Sometimes, Blaze and Sapphira share some water too.

Aavri’s POV

“Anyway, I think we need to go out of town to find that staff. Do you remember when we went to a music-related event? I forgot what it’s called, but do you remember that city?” I asked. “Oh that’s right, I remembered that.  Are we going to that city?” he asked. “Yes, yes, we will!!” I exclaimed. “No way!! Just ask one of your friends to accompany you.”Rei said.

I pouted. “But I can’t bother them! I bet Blaze-chan and Sapphira-chan are making love with Haru-chan and Nagisa-chan! And I already bothered Grimore the other day to buy an accessory.” I said.

“Then just ask Makoto to be with you.” He said. “He owns a shop, remember? He needs to open it today, especially because it’s a weekend, there’ll be lots of customers.” I said.

“So, you have no other choice, plus, you’re my dog, remember? So, let’s go!! Oh,I’ll just inform Blaze-chan and the others.” I added.

But before we do anything, I saw Grimore, Sapphira and Blaze. “Yo, girls! Great timing!  I’m going somewhere with Rei. I’ll be back before sunset. Hopefully…” I mumbled the last word. “Okay, take care!” Blaze said. “Just make sure you don’t do something fishy!” Grimore chuckled. “Have fun with your date! Huehuehue!” Sapphira snickered. “DATE?! Over my dead body!” I said and left them.
