Lucy POV
Flashback
"Be careful Miss Lucy, I've heard rumors of a horrible monster coming out at night in town." Spetto warned me on my way out.
"I'll be fine. I won't be out for that long." I told her.
Flashback end
I thought it was the truth. I thought I really wouldn't be out for long. But the sun started to set. The sky started to turn dark, and now I'm standing here, watching some sort of Fire Mage attack the monster they spoke of. The monster, it's real.
It's speaking an incantation. I remember reading about incantations. I search my memory for it. I listen to the words.
"Ego opera dissipantis. Ego caelesti. Ego magicae."
I think of what it means. I gasp. I've got it! I run inside that magic shop.
"How much for the key?" I ask. The woman is shaking in fear of the giant beast outside.
"U-uh... 500 jeul." She says, quivering. I hand her the money and take the key. I run outside.
"Open, gate of the southern Cross: Crux!" I call out. An old cross floats in front of me.
"Hey, I'm in a situation, can we make a contract later?" I ask. He nods.
"How May I help?" He asks.
"This creature is speaking an incantation, Ego opera dissipantis. Ego caelesti. Ego magicae. How do we defeat it?" I ask. He looks to have fallen asleep.
I wave my hand in his face.
"Uh.. hello?" I ask. He opens his eyes quickly. I jump back.
"Say: 'Ego cari. Ego cari. Ego cari.' With a twelve stance hand motion, And he shall disappear." Crux tells me. I nod.
"Thanks!" I say.
I run in front of the Beast.
"What are you doing?!" The pink haired boy yells.
"Saving the village!" I yell back. I put my hands together lifting two fingers. taking one foot back and one fort forward.
"Ego cari. Ego cari. Ego cari!" I say. I look up. Now they're only puffs of cloud where the monster was. I did it.
"How did you do that!?" The pink hairs boy asks.
