A high school class took a trip to Mount Fiji for their junior trip, for history to explore and have a good time. But their supposed-to-be field trip soon turned into a nightmare when the bus went off the road and crashed in the suicide forest, leav...
I felt awful for Mikey. We all liked Katelyn, but he really loved her. I couldn't imagine losing your best friend, even though for a few days I thought I'd lost mine. I was just worried that he'd hurt himself or worse. I didn't want to let him out of our sight.
Colby helped me walk, and stayed beside me in case I needed somebody. I was incredibly glad and blessed that he was okay. Obviously Mikey, too. I don't know what I'd do without them. I already thought they were gone and it was hopeless. "So what happened to your ankle?" Colby finally asked. "I'm clumsy. I was running from these.. figures and I fell. I think it's just sprained but it hurts like a bitch." I said. "I bet. I'm sorry. I'm just glad you're alright. I'm glad we found you." Colby said, letting me hold his arm for support. "Same here." I smiled.
"Dylan..." I heard a voice say. It wasn't Mike or Colby. I looked around, puzzled. "D-did you hear that?" I asked. They looked confused, "Huh?" I took a deep breath. "The voices..." I said. Their eyes grew, "It's okay. We are all here. Just keep moving." Mikey said. "We've got each others backs. Keep moving forward."
I did try to ignore it, but I felt goosebumps taking over my body. I treaded on. We all moved slowly.
"Don't trust him.." I heard the voice say, again.
Who? Who couldn't I trust and why?
I was so confused. I still tried to ignore it. "Guys, let's stop, I gotta piss." Colby said. He helped me sit on a log, and walked a few feet away to go pee.
I stood there with Mikey. It was silent. Too silent, honestly. It felt really weird.
"Don't trust him." The voices said again. I turned and looked at Mikey. There was no way. Mikey was a good kid and friend. He would never give me a reason not to trust him.
Mikey looked at me, "You alright?" He asked. I nodded, "Yeah, yeah. I'm good." I nodded, throwing in a small chuckle. He nodded, "okay. good." He said. When I looked up, he was staring at me, a really weird expression on his face. I felt uncomfortable, "Mikey.. why are you looking at me like that?" I asked, laughing nervously. He said nothing, which made it creepier. "Mikey!" I said, nervous.
Colby came over, "Everything okay guys?" He asked. "Oh yeah." Mikey said, seemingly normal again. I said nothing. Something was up. The forest was up to something again.
Great. Just what we needed.
We began to move again. "It's hard to use a map if you have no clue where you are." Mikey laughed, trying to use the map he found. I looked around, "Yeah.. I haven't seen any signs. I have no idea where the path is." I sighed. Colby nodded, "I can't believe theres been no search party or anything." We kept trying to navigate and find the path, it was seemingly impossible.
I didn't believe Mike was capable of evil, or doing anything bad to Colby or myself. But something was going on. With Katelyn dying, he definitely had a lot of sadness the forest could use against him. He is a good guy and friend. I felt bad for him.
I looked back and watching him twiddling with my knife. "Mike, you good man?" Colby asked. "I'm doing as well as I can be. Considering." He said. "Just spacin' out a little."
It was soon dark again, Colby recorded the events of the day on his voice recorder. It was the end of day 6 basically. We were almost out of all supplies. We needed to find the path and get out of there soon.
We were exhausted, but we were terrified of getting split up again. None of us wanted to sleep, for that reason alone. "How's your ankle? Do you need a break?" Colby asked me. I shrugged, "I think i'm okay." I said. "Alright, well let me know if you get too tired."
"Keep moving forward. Look for signs." Is what Mikey kept repeating every so often. Colby seemed irritated, "We get it, Mike." He said. "Huh?" Mikey asked. "We get it. Look for signs. I'm not seeing any damn signs! We've been walking for hours." He scoffed. Mikey looked at us, "I know, okay? I'm just saying." He snapped. "Don't fight." I said, shaking my head. They both looked at me, saying nothing.
They were quiet for a few minutes. We just stood in one little area, pacing and trying to think of something—anything. I sighed.
"We're gonna die in here." Mikey said out of nowhere. "Woah, Mikey. Don't say that." Colby said, looking at him. He threw his arms up, "Why not? It's been 6 days, Colby. 6 days! Nobody's coming for us." He snapped, running his fingers through his hair. We all were uneasy and tense. Colby didn't respond, unsure of what to say and probably not wanting to set Mikey off even more.
Mikey was breathing hard and had this weird look in his eyes. It made me nervous. I shot Colby a look. He looked me in my eyes. "Mikey, just relax man. Please. You're scaring us." He said. I took a deep breath. Mikey headed towards Colby. I pulled out my knife.

Mike looked at me. "You're gonna stab me?" He asked. "You're scaring us, calm down!" I yelled back. We stared at each other. "You really don't trust me? I thought we were friends." Mikey said. "You've been acting really weird Mike." Colby jumped in. "Please, chill out. We don't wanna hurt you." He added.
"I can't believe this." Mikey said. "She's just fucking scared of everything." He added, looking at me. I glared at him, "Excuse me?" I asked. "It's not my fault you're a jumpy little bitch." He replied.

"A few hours ago you loved me, and was so happy to see me. Now this?" I said. "Fuck you! I'm sorry Katelyn died. I'm sorry for everything that's happened. But you're acting crazy! And you're taking it out on me!" I cried, flipping him off.
He ran his hands through his hair. "Fuck." He said. "I'm sorry, okay!? I'm sorry." He paced back and forth. "Dylan, you're right. I'm sorry. Colby, I'm sorry." He went on. He leaned against the tree, tears forming in his eyes. I sighed. We sat beside him, comforting him. "I know I'm an ass. I'm sorry." He said, hiding his face.
