~EIGHT~
"Are you sure you dropped it?"
"Positive." Cass replied back.
Deirdre, me and Cass were out in the woods looking for Cassandra's phone because she claims she accidentally dropped it here when her and my brother were secretly making out. Yes, Cass and Paul are secretly sneaking around and seeing each other. Cass is scared to let her brothers know because there very protective of their sister and Paul didn't want them to know because he thought it might ruin their friendship. So now here we are at 1:31am, wondering through the woods. If the teachers catch us were all going to be in so much trouble.
"Are you sure this is the spot?" Deirdre asked, as her eyes were half closed. We dragged her with us outta bed and she's been complaining every two minutes how sleepy she is.
Were all in our p'jays by the way.
"Yes, it was by this tree." Cassandra points at the tree.
"There's trees everywhere!" Deirdre complained. "How do you know which one it's near?"
"The tree had our initials on it, see?" She shows us their initials that were engraved on the tree.
"Ok well hurry up and look for it." I say.
While she was looking around my mind wandered back to when me and Brody kissed. It was so nice and I felt something inside of me that I've never felt before. I felt happy, I felt love. I've never felt like this towards Brody, I mean when we were younger I had a crush on him but that went away in time. Now, just by one kiss, I feel like I'm on cloud nine.
"Aaaahhhh!" Cassandra's piercing shriek snapped me out of my thoughts. Deirdre and I ran as fast as our legs could carry us to where Cassandra had walked to.
Once we found her we saw that she was perfectly fine.
"What happened?" I asked while panting heavily.
She looked frightened. "T-there was a..a w-wolf and he was about t-to attack me, so I screamed and he ran away."
Memories flashed back of the night I was drunk and had run out here after I attempted to kiss Brody. There was a wolf and he looked very vicious and wild, but I thought that was my imagination playing tricks on me because I was wasted. Oh no, so there really is a wild wolf out here, maybe even more. What's scarier is there not too far from base camp.
"We should tell Mr. Pine about this." Deirdre said and I immediately agreed with her. If there are wolfs out here, we are not safe. The one that I saw looked very wild and judging by Cassandra's scream, what she saw must've been very scary too.
"They wont believe us." Cassandra said.
"Why wouldn't they?"
"Because," she begins, "They'll think that we're just making this up, we need to keep quiet about it, we'll tell the boys first and see what they think we should do."
We began walking back towards our cabins when we saw a figure with a flash light. Shit, it must be one of the teachers.
"Quick, get behind that tree." I ordered the two of them and we quickly hid behind it. The footsteps continued walking but in the opposite direction. Thank god!
After we made sure the coast is clear, we made a ran back towards our cabins. Deirdre messaged Logan and told him to tell the boys to meet us where we went to on our first night here.
We began walking their and soon Deirdre got a text back saying there on there way.
I can't believe it's 2am in the morning and were out here deciding what to do about this vicious looking wolves. I wonder if the teachers and students will believe us. We have to approach them in a mature way and tell them the truth. I just hope they will believe us, because if these dogs show up again, I definitely want to leave this place.
