Jeno wasn't doing fine or any better, After what happened yesterday. He got home absentminded, Jaemin's kiss was to blame for the loss of Jeno's mind. At dinner, he wasn't eating right which concerned his mother a lot. His mother kept asking him what happened, yet he chose not to tell her. He can't imagine her reacting to a boy kissing his head. Hell, even Jeno himself doesn't know how to react upon the said situation. If she knew, maybe they would transfer to a new town. Jeno knows that even her mother was traumatized from what had happened to her son.

It was even harder when Jeno wanted to sleep but couldn't because he was still replaying the scene of Jaemin pressing his lips against his head. The bed where he was lying, became a mess as he struggled to find comfort among the blankets and pillows.

His fidgeting stopped when his phone made a buzz. He glanced at the phone on top of the study table, deciding if he was prepared for what the notification was. Unsure if he was prepared, doubting that he might be awkward even in messages. But he kept his promise of wanting to change, he doesn't want to be stuck at where he was. A place where it only reminds him of what people made him become who he was through their harsh judgments and sharp words. Jeno shrugged these thoughts, it was 12:00 AM for fuck's sake and he had no time to remind him how dark his past was.

Jeno braced himself before picking his phone up from the table. He had a decent amount of strength, maybe it was from the caffeine he ingested this afternoon. But nonetheless, he was scared but determined at the same time. He looked at the notification and saw a message.

Na Jaemin: hey jen, it's Jaemin.

Lee Jeno: hey.

Na Jaemin: I was wondering if you wanna have coffee with me at the cafe by morning.

Lee Jeno: yeah sure, I'll go to your house before six.

Na Jaemin: thanks, see you tom?

Lee Jeno: Yeah.

Jeno felt the heaviness of his eyelids. The light from his phone starts to hurt his eyes, making it tear up. He didn't bother to wait for Jaemin's reply. Once the pillows and sheets became comfortable, he'd be fast asleep.

Jeno woke up with the alarm pounding his ears, he forgot that he left his phone on his bed. He got up and did his morning rituals, his routine of his usual's in the morning.

When he got ready, he left his house and proceeded to wait in front of Jaemin's. It took twenty minutes before Jaemin appeared, casually waving at Jeno as he walked towards him. He would be lying if he would tell anyone that he didn't feel anything when he saw Jaemin. His head quickly facing the other direction, his eyes met the rising sun and a vague image of Jaemin crossed his vision.

"Hey! Eye Smile." Jaemin said intentionally bumping his shoulder to him. Jeno felt the heat rush through his cheeks as he heard what the other had called him. "Uhm, hi? What's with the names?" Jeno said while he collects his thoughts. "Well, it was the first thing I saw when I looked at you. By the way it's cute." Jaemin teased. The morning's colors were pretty, it had it's cool blue spreading in the sky, a tint of yellow as the sun made its way through the clouds, and pale pink on Jeno's flushed cheeks.

The pair entered the cafe way too early. Jeno ordered their coffees while Jaemin waited on a vacant seat. Jeno noticed that Mark Lee was there preparing the counters. He remembered that Donghyuck tried to apply in this cafe as a part-timer. "E-excuse me, Mark right?" Jeno called, still new to these situations but he's getting used to it somehow.
