The muscles of his lips curved, forming a smile upon seeing the sunrays hit his skin. Jeno looked up to the skies, he squinted his eyes to look at the rising sun. He felt his warmth pierce through the cool breeze of the morning. Jeno continued walking, his hands hiding in his pocket, preventing his hands from being cold. It was still early but Jeno likes watching the sun rise. It became one of his habits.

On the way to the new school he transferred to, he went to search a cafe to grab a quick sip of coffee. In just about three blocks from his house stood a cafe called I ♡ caffeine. Jeno entered the shop. He thought that the place looked cozy and after ordering his coffee, he decided that this would be THE cafe that would be a part of his morning rituals. He found it convenient that the cafe was somehow close to the school. So he enjoyed walking to school while drinking his coffee.

Jeno stood firm. After taking a few inhales, he entered the room. He knew he was entering a new world with new groups of individuals to socialize to, new memories to make, and new adventures to conquer. To his surprise, the room was empty. This was because of him being an early bird. Jeno was an hour earlier than the written schedule on his phone.

He sat on a vacant seat near the door and tried to calm his mind. Thoughts of the past inundated his brain. Jeno took his phone out and played games to distract him from the horrors of his past.

He spent his twenty minutes on his phone, waiting for other students to arrive. Although Jeno wishes for some company, he knows that he'll probably ignore the fellow students. No, Jeno will definitely be an introverted human.

Then came a weird fellow student. He was short in frame and height, had light brown hair and narrow shoulders. What made Jeno think he was weird? He suddenly took the seat beside him and slept. Jeno cared for at least a second then he didn't bother to care. He doesn't want to disturb someone he barely knew. He just let the boy sleep.

"Here they come." Jeno said to himself as the students in the room increased his number. The students, as expected, gets along to each other. They were very kind and friendly but Jeno wasn't. He shuts people who befriends him. He even knows it to himself that what he is doing is rude for others. Yet Jeno shrugs those thoughts away as a darker thought came to his mind, his past maybe. Jeno can't help yet to close his eyes and exhale in order to calm himself. But it didn't last long, as someone blasted to the door. Jeno looks at the person who almost slammed the door due to its rush. Jeno figured that the student was almost late just by a minute.

He was somehow enticed to the person who suddenly walked into the room, he was smiling widely and it looked like the sun was still rising. He saw the tiny drops of sweat on the forehead of the said boy, it reminded him of the dew on the leaves of the trees whenever he walked in the morning, as the droplets reflected the sun rays, so as the boy, he was shining. Jeno felt something familiar, the feeling was similar when he took a look at the sun. He was left asking himself, "Who are you? Why do you bring this feeling like I'm looking at the sun itself?"

Jeno was astounded at this weird feeling. He spent his time figuring out why and how's while looking at the boy.

"You looked so whipped for that guy." a voice beside Jeno stated as Jeno's thoughts popped. It was the boy who sat beside him and started sleeping a while ago.

"No, I just felt something weird." Jeno states as he looked at the boy who slept. "Well for me, I won't say you're falling in love at your first sight because love doesn't work like that, so I think you're just thirsty for that man." The student said, Jeno doesn't know what to say or respond. It was a lot to take in for him, it was the first time he socialized again. Suddenly the boy who slept (Jeno decided to call him 'the boy who slept') laughs. "I'm just kidding, by the way I'm Renjun" he introduced, well in the weirdest way. 'Is that how you socialize?' Jeno thought.
