She held on tightly to Bernie's collar, she could see Lissi running beside them. She could feel the small parrots feathers shuffling in the wind as they ran and ran. She smiled, this was a first time experience, and she would cherish it until she couldn't anymore.

She noticed many birds flying over her head, animals looking at them in interest as they passed by, the wind ruffling Bernie's fur and making her hair fly wildly.

"Master! Master! River up-ahead!" She heard her white-furred friend yell out.

"Roger! Bernie, slow down!" She yelled, Bernie continued to run, but slowed down in time. She felt the wind slow down, the leaves stopping their whistles and whispers, the trees seemed more taller.

She got off of Bernie, him laying down so she could get off safely. She began humming a tune, Rasputin, she remembered it was named. She sat down, looking at the water.

"Ra ra rasputin" She sang, she closed her eyes and felt around the area she sat, she grabbed a decent rock and threw it into the river. She heard a splash.

She continued to hum the song, throwing some rocks into the river once in a while.

She sat there for a while, before opening up her eyes and staring into the water, it was then she realized, her appearance.. had kind of changed. She was much taller, she was over half way to her brother, made sense though, she was still young, though she had went through puberty much faster than the others she knew.

Her blond and 'black'-ish brown locks were mixed more nicer, her eyes were still their color-changing self, she noticed her baggy clothes had stayed with her on the journey, and from what she knew, she had to get different clothes soon, as they were not fit for traveling in rough terrain, and definitely not fit for battle.

She sighed, getting new clothes would require.. what was the name of it? Ryu? Ryo? Eh, she would figure it out late- she gasped, but then facepalmed, she couldn't use her mother's sewing skills, she didn't learn that anyways, how would she even KNOW how to? She huffed out a deep breath, grabbed another rock, and threw it out into the water.

She continued to think what could happen now that, maybe, everyone was here, and was probably on the move still, considering it would be hard to gather resources alone. She unconsciously began scratching her arm, thin lines of red forming. She sighed again, shaking her head as she got up.

Bernie laid his head down, his eyes going backwards as he tried to sleep, Frost didn't know why he slept with his eyes open, it was weird to look at, and even weirder when his eyes moved. She chuckled at the old memories.

Frost could hear the small breaths of the parrot sitting on her shoulder, the ends of her lips went upwards, forming a small smile. The warm sun made her body shiver, the heavy breath she released made her think, the way the trees stood tall yet still so small, it all made her smile.

'Drip!'

"Huh?"

She looked upwards, squinting as more drops of rain began to drop from the dark colored fluffy clouds. 'Rain.' She thought, she saw it was raining more and more, the rain soon stinging a bit.

"Shit. Guys, it's raining cats and dogs, we need to find a place before we die from the cold." She yelled over the loud splashing of the wild river and the drops of heavy rain, the wind whistled as the trees bent from the force, the leaves from the trees squirming wildy, trying to hold itself on it's life force.

The four went to search for cover, and, after a few minutes, they found a comfortable enough- and large- tree that had enough space for all of them. Bernie and Lissi curled up around the tree.

She sighed, looking up, grateful the tree was covering them. It even seemed as it shaped itself around them, to cover them, to protect them from the harsh rain. Her lips pulled up into a small smile, her hand resting on her dogs wet fur. She leaned back, and then closed her eyes, she was tired.

It had been a long.. long day.
