3rd Person POV
The young Zauvek was bandaging and taking care of her new friend using the medical kit he had with him. Now, she was bandaging the wound.
'I wonder if I can do medical ninjutsu........I wanna be a med-nin. It'd be so frikin cool to get injured, put a hand over your wound and bLAM-' She thought to herself.
"Hey...."
"Hmm?"
"Do you know anyone that can teach me medical ninjutsu, Hitori-kun?"
"Actually, yes. Yes I do."
"Really?!" Rockie was hella excited. She always wanted to be a medic nin.
"But she's real strict though."
"I don't mind." She smiled her cute smile.
Hitori stared at her a bit, then looked away.
"So, who's my mystery sensei?"
"My sister."
"Why do you have no last name....?"
"..."
"It's a personal topic, isn't it?" Rockie looked down in shame. Then, she smiled. She stood up, took Hitoris hand and ran towards the cave that she and Lisa were currently staying at.
The cave was too boring, so Rockie decided to spend a whole day trying to make it a little more presentable. She used some kunai to carve some drawings on the wall. She also used kunai to make a little table out of the walls of the cave. A bed too. Tho, it's a little uncomfortable. She found a bag lying in the corner of the cave, abandoned. As if it was left there for her specificly. In there, were pairs of the same clothing that she was wearing when she first got to the Narutoverse. There was also some underwear. The other stuff in there was a towel, a pillow, a comb, a lot of money and a blanket. Not sure how that got there, but she was grateful for it anyway. She used a giant cape that she found hanging on a tree the other day to cover the cave she was in. The cave was hidden and surrounded by trees, so she was ok.
She ran into her hiding place, still firmly holding Hitori's hand.
"Tada! What do you think of my cave?" Rockie smiled brightly.
"Well.....it's better than average....." Hitori replied smoothly.
"Yay!"
So, they chatted. A lot. Rockie learned that Hitori, his mother, and his many siblings were struggling to survive on their own. Their father left them, so they had to rely on their mother and the 3 oldest siblings. That includes Hitori.
Hitori somehow managed to keep a poker face while telling his new friend some parts of his life story. But Rockie knew what he was feeling deep down in his heart. The only thing that makes Rockie feel better during these moods is a good spar. It works on her, why wouldn't it work on him?
"Hey....why don't we spar a bit? I wanna work on my taijutsu." Rockie said, tiny hints of nervousness clearly evident in her voice as she hugged her knees.
"Of course you do." Hitori said as he stood up. Once he fully stood up, he lent Rockie a hand. She took it, then stood up. They both walked off to a nearby clearing beside the mountains.
They both got a few feet away from each other, and faced in each others way, studying their opponent. After a couple of minutes, they finally got into a fighting stance. They starred at each other, predicting the others's next move.
'Guess that martial arts and taijutsu training back at home pays off, don't ya think, me?'
'Oh, shut up inner me.'
'You're so evil, I'm offended.'
Rockie decided that she would go first. She ran around in circles, in order to confuse the opponent. Fortunately, it worked. Hitori was feeling a little dizzy when he kept watching her. Having enough of the torment, he grabbed a kunai from his pouch and threw it at Rockie. Rockies eyes were sharp enough to see that kunai coming towards her and barely dodged it. What she didn't notice, was that the kunai had an explosive tag attached to it.
The area around where the kunai hit exploded. Rockie just barely had enough time to jump away from the explosions. But that didn't stop her legs from getting some burns. She flinched in pain as she flew through the sky. Just when she was starting to land, she saw some shuriken being thrown towards her. She grabbed a kunai from her pouch and deflected some of them that was flying towards her at a fast speed. But that didn't stop some shuriken from landing scratches on her, here and there.
'Guess I have to go for a close-range battle, huh?' Rockie thought as she landed somewhere in front of Hitori. Who seemed to have a cocky smirk on his face. A few seconds later, she finds out why.
She tripped.
*sNEZ-*
"I'll slap that stupid smirk off of your face." Rockie said as she kept on guard. But something didn't feel right. The person in front of her, it felt like he doesn't have any light, or some sort of power inside of him instead of the one she talked and smiled to 10 minutes ago.
'A clone?!'
She moved her head at the last mili-second to dodge a kunai that was thrown directly at her shoulder. Her eyes widened when that kunai turned into Hitori as he put Rockie in a headlock with a kunai to her neck. She was breathing heavily at this point.
"You lose." Hitori said with a hint of amusement in his voice.
'If I ever get one of those forehead protecter things, I'm so gonna put that on my neck.'
"Your observing and aiming skills are good. But your speed needs work. You also need to learn to tell the difference between a clone and an actual human being. I can help you with some moves and tricks-" Hitori was cut off by another male voice. But this voice sounded younger.
"Nii-san! There you are- what are you doing?" A boy who sounded and looked younger than Hitori. And apparently, this boy is Hitori's younger brother.
"What's up, Makoto?" Hitori said while letting go of Rockie.
"Who's that?" Makoto pointed and glared at Rockie, who was laying down on a nearby boulder.
"She's a friend." Hitori answered as smooth as a petal falling off its branch.
"Anyway, kaa-san wants us home. She wants to talk about something important." Makoto got to point onto why he was there in the first place.
"Give me a minute or two to talk to Rockie, alright?" Hitori said as he turned around.
'So, her name's Rockie, huh?' Makoto thought as he look at the two people talking.
'I hope she doesn't betray nii-san like all his other "friends"....'
"I'll go with you!" What Rockie said caught Makoto's attention.
"I'm not sure if Kaa-san would allow that." Hitori rejected her suggestion.
"Actually, I'm sure Kaa-san would be more than happy to see a girl coming with us." Makoto said, shocking his older brother for a second. Then, his face turned back to neutral.
"Okay then. Rockie, you may come." Hitori said.
"YATTA!" Rockie whisper screams.
And soon enough, the trio were jumping from tree to tree to where Hitori and his family lived. And tripping Rockie goes.
