Meeting

New's Pov
So today's the first day of university life and I arrived at my dorm some half hour ago. My dorm life is gonna start today. I'm going to share it with a roommate of course and when I reached the dorm someone's luggage was already there. Might be my roommate's. So I inspected the room and saw my roommate's luggage at the left bed.
"So he decided his own bed huh?"
Now I have no choice but to get the other one. Then I suddenly heard the unlocking of the door and someone entering with a football in his one hand.
He entered and asked me "Are you the one who's gonna be my roommate?"
He looked somewhat familiar to my best friend with whom I parted 8 years ago.
"I'm Tay, Tay Tawan Vihorkratna." he put his hand in front me for a shake hand.
"Tay Tawan Viho-? ARE YOU TAY???" I shouted at him.
"....who are you???" He responded.
"I'm New!!! you don't remember me???? we used to play together when we were little!!"
"New....Oh Yeah!!! NEW!! its been so long New!! How have you been?"
We shook hands.
"I missed you so much back then when you were gone!" I said.
"Me too New! I guess we got a lot to catch up with? How are your mom dad?
"Dad passed away some months after you moved and mom is as always handling her business." I replied looking a little gloomy.
"Hey I'm sorry"
"No it's okay! You didn't know because you weren't there.."
Oh the situation became awkward. What the fuck are you saying New. You are saying like it was his fault he wasn't there!!! ugh there I'll go drown myself somewhere. So to lighten the situation I asked him "Btw why are you carrying a football?"
"Oh this? I was just practing a little because I got here through sports scholarship, don't have money to spend on all the shit haha!"
"Oh is that so!"
Suddenly Tay's phone started ringing.
"Oh its Off."
"Hello
"Hey shithead did you reach your room? Let's meet at the cafeteria?"
"I reached 10 hours before you reached you ass."
"So are you coming or not?"
"Yeah coming."
"I'm going to cafeteria to grab some food and to meet my friend you wanna come?" he asked me.
I said no because even I had to meet my best friend Gun.
"Okay then see you later!"
He smiled and left.
His smile was like sunshine. What the heck New did you just check out your childhood best friend? Yeah he looked kinda sexy too. Yeah he was my crush back then and it seems like he is even now...I'll die if I be with him right now. Calm down New!!
I'll go see Gun now.
