Relief

Tay's Pov
I woke up to saline attached to my right hand and New sleeping besides me head on the bed and he was sitting on the floor. I was in our room. Off was there too.
"Hey buddy you awake? how are you?" he asked.
I just put my left hand on my eyes and my head as they were aching.
"Better than when I was in dressing room I guess?"
"They said you weren't eating enough and had lack of sleep. You were exhausted man, why didn't you tell anyone? At least New? He was so worried for you!" Said Off.
"Hey I didn't want him to worry-" I tried saying
"And now what?? this thing happened to you won't make him worried??" Said Off.
"Well whatever please talk to him, he was panicking when he saw you like that. I'll get going and Gun is paying doctor's bill be sure to return him the money and btw New went to our coach to discuss about this matter happened." Said Off.
"What??? New did what the-"
"Listen to me first. Not only you many others were very much exhausted too so we all went with him and surprise our practice has been reduced lol. He really went and did it. We don't have morning practice anymore." Said Off.
I was too surprised to say anything. New did this. Wow.
"Now that I told you the news I'll get going. See you later."
"Yeah see you later." I said.
Then I looked at New.
"Hey I'm sorry and thank you" I said as I started petting his head softly. I tried sitting up and still kept petting his head and I suddenly leaned in and kissed his head. Okay but why did I do that just now? I was surprised myself.
I blushed really hard at the act I just did and I really wanted to get away from there so I tried but that stirred up New and he woke up.
"Where are you going?" asked New with his sleepy voice while rubbing his eyes. Gosh he is cute that I wanted to pinch his cheeks.
And that wish came true.

New's pov
It's a terrifying sight to see your crush- heck with that, your love of life collapsing before you just like my father did back then.I was fuckinh destroyed mentally by seeing the same situation taking place again like that time. But I was glad that at least Off was in his senses and called for the doctor. Doctor told us that he had lack of sleep and wasn't eating as much as he needed to.
I knew it. I was right, he did lose some weight god why didn't I say something when I noticed it I'm such a worthless person. Me and Off took Tay to our room first and then I asked the other players from out uni about the practice and we went to that shitty coach together. Of course I couldn't see Tay like this again and I had to fix that. We solved the matter together.
Then me and Off came together to our room and I sat besides the bed on the floor.
Off started "We invited him yesterday night to have dinner with us as we were going to have all the nutritious food we need but he refused saying that he was gonna have dinner with someone important."
Oh fuck. That's me. We fought and he didn't eat much. Shit. But for now he is okay...I was already mentally exhausted today so I noticed myself getting drifted to sleep.
When I woke up Tay was trying to go somewhere.
"Where are you going??"
"Uhm no-nooo no where???" he stuttered?
"Are you feeling okay now???? does it hurt somewhere??"
"No. I'm okay now New."
"Btw I heard from Off that you refused to have dinner with them and came with me instead and you didn't eat properly and-"
Tay realised where I was going with this and
"It's not your fault New." Said Tay with a stern face.
"But-"
I was cut off because Tay now cupped my face in his hands and looked straight down into my eyes as tears were threatening to drop from my eyes.
"It's not.your.fault. That's it."
I looked into his eyes as if there was no tomorrow.
Then he averted his gaze and looked back at me and pinched my cheeks.
"Oww Ouch Tay stop it!!!"
Then he let go of my face.
I wanted him to hold me like that a little longer.
I stood up from there and made him lie on the bed.
"Next 3 days you are not going anywhere and I'm going to prepare you food. It's all going to be healthy food and trust me I'm a good cook." I said as I pushed him onto the bed.
"Will it even be edible heh? can I trust you???"
"I'll make you eat it even if its not edible" I screamed from the kitchen as I chuckled.
"Hey that statement could make you a murderer." said Tay with a chuckle.
When I came back to the bed Tay was already asleep.
