Sameeksha was upset because of Bandana, she had dinner and went to the terrace. Everyone was sleeping already, but she knew Bandana was awake.
"Bandana, me jaanti hu tu jaag rhi hai" she said, Bandana opened her eyes. "Pata hai, me to iss baat pe hairaan hu ke tune shopkeeper se jhagda kese nhi kia? Aur Ethan tere lie lada to tune use bhi roka" Sameeksha said.
"Woh yaha apne research project pe kaam karne aaya hai, me nhi chahti thi ke woh meri wajah se kisi problem me fass jaae" Bandana said with a cracking voice. Sameeksha hummed, "soja" she said, Bandana nodded and hid her face under the blanket.
She was trying to sleep from almost two hours, suddenly she heard Edwin crying. Grayson woke up and tried to make Edwin stop crying, "kya hua?" She asked, "I don't know" He said rubbing Edwin's back.
One by one everyone woke up, Sameeksha brought some milk but Edwin was not ready to drink it. "Aaj kya hua hai isko?" Manjot said in a sleepy voice, Bandana rubbed her tired eyes and grabbed her phone.
She felt something in her eye, so she opened the camera app on her phone to check her eye. She was looking at the screen very carefully when she noticed a silhouette at the back, near the wall.
She immediately turned but she couldn't see anything clearly. Ethan was looking at her, she turned her phone's torch on and looked at the wall. He saw her expressions changing from confused to scared and then terrified. Her eyes were wide open, tears flowing from them. Her hand shaking, he moved his gaze to the direction where she was looking at.
His heart beat increased, he was more scared than her. What he could see, was a man standing with blood stains all over his white clothes. There were scars on his face, making him appear horrible.
Ethan wiped the sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand and then looked at Bandana. He was about to go and hug her tightly, just to make her feel safe.
"Bandana? Kya dekh rhi ho?" Manjot asked looking at the wall, Bandana looked at Manjot. It was clear that he could not see the man standing there, "Man...jot" She said, "kya hua? Itna darri kyu ho?" He asked taking her in his embrace. Ethan looked away to hide his tears.
"Woh...jo aaj uss store me hua...woh yaad aa gaya tha" She lied hugging him back, "it's okay, Ethan tha na waha?" He said rubbing her back. She hummed and looked at Ethan, he was looking down, she sniffed and he looked at her. They could understand the pain in each other's eyes. He signed her to look at Edwin.
Edwin was crying with his face towards the wall, he could probably see the man standing there. What Bandana couldn't understand was that she had tied the mauli thread on the door, then how did a spirit get into their house. She wiped her tears and started chanting Hanuman Chalisa. The spirit disappeared half way through the prayer.
When she finished, Edwin stopped crying. Everyone went back to sleep. However Ethan was still thinking about Bandana, and she could not sleep because of the fear of seeing that spirit again.

Bandana woke up late, as usual. She got ready and went downstairs. Surprisingly, Ethan was in the living room before her. She went to the kitchen, "yeh jaldi uth gaya?" She asked Sameeksha, she hummed in reply.
"Sameeksha" Bandana called her, "mujhe kucch batana tha" She said, Sameeksha nodded. "Mujhe pata hai kal raat Edwin kyu ro raha tha" She said, Sameeksha looked at her, "kyu?" she asked.
"Terrace pe ek bhoot tha" Bandana said in a low voice, Sameeksha rolled her eyes. "Tujhe har jagah bhoot hi dikhte hai kya?" Sameeksha asked.
"Sachme tha, aur Edwin uss taraf dekh raha tha jaha bhoot tha" Bandana explained. "Bandana please" Sameeksha said, "mene sachme dekha" Bandana insisted. "Accha? Yeh kese bhoot hai, jo hamesha tujhe dikhte hai aur kisi aur ko nhi?" Sameeksha asked and then left.
Bandana followed her and they reached the living room.
She decided not to talk about the spirit she saw, no one would have believed her if her best friend didn't.
"By the way" She said to Ethan, "project start karna hai ya nhi?" She asked. "Yeah" He said, "batao kaha se shuru karna hai" She said.
"Okay, first of all I need to go to the Cellular Jail" He said, Bandana froze. She looked at everyone else, "isko Cellular Jail jaana hai" She said to Sameeksha.
"Waha kya karna hai?" Sameeksha asked, "Cellular Jail was active after the 1857 Rebellion, so I wanted to visit it, just to get a feel of how it was for the prisoners to live there" He said air quoting prisoners.
Bandana was just looking at him, "ham Cellular Jail nhi jaa rahe" She said, "why?" Ethan asked, she looked down, "bas nhi jaa rahe" She said. "But I need to go there" He said, "feel ke lie Bollywood movies dekh lo" She said, "mene dek li hai" He said.
"Dekho. Na me waha jaa rhi hu, aur na tumhe jaane dungi" She said, "but why?" He asked getting a little annoyed by Bandana's behaviour. Bandana looked at Sameeksha.
Sameeksha sighed, "kehte hai ke Cellular Jail ke paas jo jungle hai, waha bhoot hai. Koi nhi jaata waha" She explained, "Bandana ko khud pehle Cellular Jail pe research karni thi, isne start bhi kia, par bhooto ke chakkar me isko apna project change karna pada" She said.
Ethan looked at Bandana, "I still want to go" He said, she rolled her eyes and just left.

Sameeksha went to Grayson's room as he called her, the door was open and he was looking out of the window. She knocked on the door, he looked back, "oh hey, come in " He said. "I needed some help" He said taking his shirt off, "what...are...you doing?" She asked looking at him.
"I can feel something on my back, as if a part of it is...burning?" He said unsure, "can you please check?" He asked politely, she nodded slowly.
"And...where is Ethan?" She asked, "Ethan is...in the bathroom" He said, "he's having a shower" He said quickly, "and Mandy?" She asked, "I don't know where he is" He said. "Okay" She smiled, "let me see" She said.
He took his shirt off and stood in front of the mirror. She looked at his back, there was a huge red spot, she got a bit closer and touched it.
